Il libro, basato in buona parte su un’ampia documentazione inedita, restituisce una ricca e circostanziata ricostruzione storico-critica delle vicende costruttive del palazzo Castrone a Palermo, e costituisce un efficace tentativo di “lettura continua” che partendo dal dato documentario riporta l’attenzione alla comprensione critica della fabbrica, riconsiderando e in parte correggendo tesi e interpretazioni storiografiche precedenti. Gli arcivescovi di Palermo nel corso dei secoli hanno costantemente espresso un’aulica committenza di arte sacra, molto spesso particolarmente onerosa e prestigiosa per i materiali, i modelli e gli artefici scelti. Si tratta di suppellettili metalliche, manoscritti o libri a stampa su pergamena e carta, parati realizzati in tessuto operato o ricamato, plasticazioni in stucco e arredi sacri in pietre dure, dipinti, insegne vescovili in uso nella cappella privata o nella cattedrale. International audience; In this paper we present the findings of a COSPAR Mars Special Regions Colloquium held in Rome in 2007. We review and discuss the definition of Mars Special Regions, the physical parameters used to define Mars Special Regions, and physical features on Mars that can be interpreted as Mars Special Regions. We conclude that any region experiencing temperatures > -25 degrees C for a few hours a year and a water activity > 0.5 can potentially allow the replication of terrestrial microorganisms. Abstract Managerial decisions are based on accurate information and in today's time raw data is produced even with a stroke of a key. Regardless of the data creating process one needs to know how the information was extracted and which pool of data was used. One important factor is time therefore we need to structure it in layers of data history in such a way that it can be analyzed, (post)process, in order to be able to retrieve valuable information. With the availability of high-throughput gene expression analysis, multiple public expression databases emerged, mostly based on microarray expression data. Although these databases are of significant biomedical value, they do hold significant drawbacks, especially concerning the reliability of single gene expression profiles obtained by microarray data. Simultaneously, reliable data on an individual gene's expression are often published as single northern blots in individual publications. La literatura contable revela resultados contradictorios al evaluar el efecto que los diferentes usos de los sistemas de control de gestión (SCG) tienen en la innovación. Siguiendo el marco teórico establecido por Simons (1995), este trabajo prueba el efecto que la internacionalización, bien sea directo, mediador o moderador, tiene en la relación entre el uso interactivo de los SCG y el compromiso de las empresas con la innovación.
