Predictors of credibility of online media in the spanish polarized media system

Credibility of online news media is facing important challenges: the levelling effect of the digital environment, the changing habits of consumption, polarization of discourses… This scenario makes it relevant to address what features of news brands and news content shape the credibility of contemporary journalism. This article tests a set of items, including journalistic standards, reputation and citizen participation, in order to build predictors involved in credibility judgments. Este trabajo estudia las iniciativas de las filiales venezolanas de empresas multinacionales y los mercados a los que se enfocan, entendiendo por iniciativa todo aquel proceso emprendedor que identifica una oportunidad y logra el compromiso de recursos orientado a la consecución de esa oportunidad. Para ello se utiliza una metodología cualitativa a través de estudios de casos y se valoran las clasificaciones de iniciativas de filiales según sus objetivos y el enfoque de mercado, aplicándolas en filiales establecidas en Venezuela.
