Iterative Reconstruction of Signals on Graph

We propose an iterative algorithm to interpolate graph signals from only a partial set of samples. Our method is derived from the well known Papoulis-Gerchberg algorithm by considering the optimal value of a constant involved in the iteration step. Compared with existing graph signal reconstruction algorithms, the proposed method achieves similar or better performance both in terms of convergence rate and computational efficiency.

A Novel Approach to Introducing Adaptive Filters Based on the LMS Algorithm and Its Variants

This paper presents a new approach to introducing adaptive filters based on the least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm and its variants in an undergraduate course on digital signal processing. Unlike other filters currently taught to undergraduate students, these filters are nonlinear and time variant. This proposal introduces adaptive filtering in the context of a linear time-invariant system using a real problem. In this way, introducing adaptive filters using concepts already familiar to the students motivates their interest through practical application. A beam finite element for magneto-electro-elastic multilayered composite structures

Abstract A new finite element based upon an elastic equivalent single-layer model for shear deformable and straight magneto-electro-elastic generally laminated beam is presented. The element has six degrees of freedom represented by the displacement components and the cross-section rotation of its two nodes. The magneto-electric boundary conditions enter the discrete problem as work-equivalent forces and moments while the electro-magnetic state characterization constitutes a post-processing step. Abstract A multichoice game is a generalization of a cooperative TU game in which each player has several activity levels. We study the solution for these games proposed by Van Den Nouweland et al.
