This study conducts an exploratory corpus-assisted discourse analysis of the representation of the Rohingya minority group across online news media in the United Kingdom. The purpose of the study is to identify and interpret the discursive patterns employed in popular online news media when depicting the Rohingya minority and associated crises affecting the group in Myanmar and worldwide. The discourse produced in a guided tour stems from different communicative modalities which include the visit assisted by a socio-technical device and the visit guided by an education and visitor service officer. These two modalities show common characteristics of a guided tour; they also offer significant differences. Abstract Background Congenital space-occupying thoracic malformations and diaphragmatic hernia have in common pulmonary hypoplasia. Our study aims to assess cardiac involvement during post-natal adaptation. Methods A retrospective study was carried out on newborns with prenatally diagnosed intrathoracic mass. Gathering for respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), 35 neonates were compared for clinical course, cardiovascular enzymes, ECG, and ultrasound. Results The analysis revealed a high left heart defect rate in patients with severe RDS, without being influenced by the laterality. The aim of this study was to to describe students’ perceptions on problem-based learning (PBL) when applied in a course of Psychometrics. 34 students participated in the course. Activities were conducted in groups of three students during two sessions of two hours each, and included the traditional steps in the PBL tutorial process. Participants were surveyed on their perceptions on PBL, acquisition of competences in PBL vs Traditional learning, and will to use PBL methodology in the future.
