The purpose of this study was to evaluate knowledge and factors associated with HPV unvaccinated girls after five years of vaccination program implementation in Sicily, an Italian region with low vaccination coverage (<50.0%). We argue that during the financial crisis, economic news served as a dominant source of information for the public and as an influential factor in legitimating economic policy. We analyze (1) how German news broadcasts treated governmental intervention during the crisis and (2) selected effects on public opinion. Drawing on results from a content analysis of television news broadcasts ( n = 980), we show that governmental intervention was covered substantially, focusing on fiscal measures. Objective. To analyze prevalences of allergic sensitization and atopic disease in relation to vaccination coverage. Methods. A German atopy risk-enhanced birth cohort of 1314 neonates who were born in 1990 in 5 German cities was studied. A total of 943 children participated in the follow-up visit at 5 years of age. Abstract A viable solution to reducing the buildings’ energy demand is the implementation of green coverings that have been demonstrated to improve the envelope performance, especially in summer season. Anyway, to apply computer models analyzing the energy performance of buildings equipped with such components, the knowledge of specific parameters is needed. Among these, the fractional vegetation coverage and leaf area index are of great importance. By means of an experimental facility, first results of the evaluation of these foliage-related parameters for five types of vegetation are presented.

Einwiller and Kuhn then describe how Daimler has developed “SCORA,” its integrated system for corporate reputation analysis. To establish the system, Daimler firstly had to determine target variables, influencing factors, and relevant stakeholder groups. The authors explain how their company has identified relevant regions, benchmarks, and the appropriate methodology for its tool. “SCORA” combines media content analysis and stakeholder surveying to fully capture Daimler’s reputation. It additionally reveals relations between stakeholders’ perceptions and the depiction of the car manufacturer in the media. An example of such an analysis concludes this chapter.
