The study points to the urgent need to introduce legislative changes in the bankruptcy law, making it easier for aggrieved creditors to pursue ex delicto compensation claims against a person who has committed a tort while acting as a trustee in bankruptcy during the bankruptcy proceedings. The possibility for an individual creditor to pursue all claims against the trustee in bankruptcy for the benefit of the entire community of creditors would improve the compensation function of Article 415 of the Civil Code and Article 160(3) of the Insolvency Law, the preventive function, and the repressive function. Thermo-Mechanical Behaviour of Flax-Fibre Reinforced Epoxy Laminates for Industrial Applications

The present work describes the experimental mechanical characterisation of a natural flax fibre reinforced epoxy polymer composite. A commercial plain woven quasi-unidirectional flax fabric with spun-twisted yarns is employed in particular, as well as unidirectional composite panels manufactured with three techniques: hand-lay-up, vacuum bagging and resin infusion. The stiffness and strength behaviours are investigated under both monotonic and low-cycle fatigue loadings. Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is commonly associated with cardiac dysfunction, which may be reflected by abnormal electrocardiograms (ECG) and/or contractility. TBI-related cardiac disorders depend on the type of cerebral injury, the region of brain damage and the severity of the intracranial hypertension. Decompressive craniectomy (DC) is commonly used to reduce intra-cranial hypertension (ICH). Although DC decreases ICH rapidly, its effect on ECG has not been systematically studied.
