La biblioteca del canónigo y doctor en decretos Jaume d'Eixarc constituye un modelo de colección de los textos jurídicos y teológicos más difundidos en el periodo bajomedieval y muestra la doble condición de eclesiástico y jurista del propietario. Formada exclusivamente por obras de la litúrgia, teología y, sobretodo, de Derecho Canónico y Civil, fue legada al monasterio de la Trinidad de València.

Leaves of paprika pepper (Capsicum annuum L., cv Negral) plants sprayed with Ti(IV)-ascorbate showed an important increase of iron and titanium concentrations, as well as of the activity of peroxidase and catalase enzymatic systems. Leaf-Ti increase is similar for both greenhouse and field crop experiments, but increases in leaf Fe are more marked in plants growing under field conditions.

Iron is an essential micronutrient for all eukaryotic organisms because it participates as a redox-active cofactor in many biological processes, including DNA replication and repair. Eukaryotic ribonucleotide reductases (RNRs) are Fe-dependent enzymes that catalyze deoxyribonucleoside diphosphate (dNDP) synthesis. We show here that the levels of the Sml1 protein, a yeast RNR large-subunit inhibitor, specifically decrease in response to both nutritional and genetic Fe deficiencies in a Dun1-dependent but Mec1/Rad53- and Aft1-independent manner. PREVIOUS work in this laboratory1,2 has demonstrated the presence of a highly active cytochrome oxidase in the isolated mitochondria of unfertilized sea urchin eggs. This activity is only 25 per cent lower than that of the mitochondria of the newly fertilized egg and up to the blastula stage2. No cytochrome oxidase activity has been found other than in the mitochondria1,3. Interactions of lysozyme with hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymethacrylate stationary phases in reversed phase chromatography (RPC)

Two silicas, one with a mean pore diameter of 30 nm and the other non-porous, were coated with polymethacrylates of increasing hydrophobicity in the sequence: poly-2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (P2HEMA)1 polyethylmethacrylate (PEMA) and poly-n-octylmethacrylate (POMA). Association constants, Kass, between lysozyme and the coated silicas were determined by means of frontal analysis, and the apparent heats of adsorption, delta Happ, by means of microcalorimetry. Pētījuma mērķis: atklāt savstarpējās saistības starp sporta motivāciju, psiholoģiskajām vajadzībām un izdegšanu studējošiem sportistiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki: 245 studenti-sportisti, kuru vidējais vecums ir M (SD) = 24 (6,48) un to vidējais sporta stāžs ir M (SD) = 11 (6,41). Pētījuma metode: instruments, kas ietver trīs aptaujas: Sporta motivācijas aptauja-II (SMA-II), Psiholoģisko vajadzību aptauja sporta jomā (PVASJ) un Sportistu izdegšanas aptauja (SIA). Rezultāti: apstiprinošā faktoru analīze norāda uz atbilstošu hipotētisko modeli instrumentā iekļautajām aptaujām. Maģistra darbs “Svešvalodas prasmju apguve formālajā un neformālajā izglītībā pamatskolas skolēnu vērtējumā” izstrādāts ar mērķi teorētiski pētīt un empīriski pamatot svešvalodas apguves atšķirības formālajā un neformālajā izglītībā pamatskolas skolēniem, un izstrādāt ieteicamo paņēmienu kopu, kas būtu integrējama formālajā izglītībā svešvalodas apguves sekmēšanai. Līdz ar pāreju uz kompetencēs balstītu izglītību izglītības standartā tiek izvirzītas augstākas prasības pret svešvalodu apguvi, atzīstot esošo prasmju līmeni kā nepietiekamu. Šī diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, cik efektīva ir dažādu mācību vides apvienošana, lai pilnveidotu runas prasmes angļu valodas stundās 10. klasē. Mācību procesā ir integrēti uzdevumos balstītas valodas mācīšanas un kombinētās valodas apguves aspekti, cerot, ka to īstenošana uzlabos izglītojamo runas prasmes. Empīriskā pētniecības metode bija atsevišķa gadījuma izpēte, kura gaitā 99 angļu valodas izglītojamajo zināšanas tika pārbaudītas, veicot mutisko ieskaiti pirms mācīšanas un prezentāciju pēc mācīšanas. Visbeidzot, iegūto datu analīze pierāda, ka uzdevumos balstītas valodas mācīšanas un kombinētās valodas apguves pielietošana nodrošina rezultātus profesionālās skolās, bet nesniedz rezult…
