Vecāku priekšstatu veidošanās par bērna uzmanības deficīta un hiperaktivitātes sindromu

Bakalaura darbs „Vecāku priekšstatu veidošanās par bērna uzmanības deficīta un hiperaktivitātes sindromu” ir pētījums par to, kas veido vecāku, kuru bērnam diagnosticēts uzmanības deficīta un hiperaktivitātes sindroms, pieredzi un līdz ar to priekšstatus par šo diagnozi. Izmantojot diagnostiskas un stigmatizācijas konceptus, tiek skatīts vecāku pieredzes naratīvs. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka vecākiem un bērniem nākas sastapties ar dažāda veida stigmatizāciju gan skolā, gan ārpus tās. Stigmatizējoša attieksme vērojama arī starp vecākiem, kas izvēlas nedot bērniem UDHS medicīnas līdzekļus, un tiem, kas tos izvēlas lietot. Tika izvirzītas hipotēzes: 1) Pastāvēs statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp zēniem un meitenēm krāsu reakcijas testā, simbolu ciparu virknes testā, pirkstu uzsitienu testā un UDHS simptomu aptaujā 8 – 9 gadus vecu bērnu izlasē; 2)Pastāvēs statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp krāsu reakcijas testu, simbolu ciparu virknes testu, pirkstu uzsitienu testu un UDHS simptomu aptaujas mainīgajiem lielumiem 8 – 9 gadus vecu bērnu izlasē; 3) Zēniem būs augstāki UDHS simptomu rādītāji nekā meitenēm un būs vājāki rādītāji krāsu reakcijas testā, simbolu ciparu virknes testā un pirkstu uzsitienu testā. Background: Metabolic syndrome (MetS), the clustering of metabolic risk factors, is associated with cardiovascular disease risk. We sought to determine if dysregulation of the lipidome may contribute to metabolic risk factors. Methods: We measured 154 circulating lipid species in 658 participants from the Framingham Heart Study (FHS) using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and tested for associations with obesity, dysglycemia, and dyslipidemia. Independent external validation was sought in three independent cohorts. Thermo-oxidative stabilization of poly(lactic acid) with antioxidant intercalated layered double hydroxides

Two antioxidant modified layered double hydroxides (AO-LDHs) were successfully prepared by the intercalation of 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid (IrganoxCOOH) and 6-hydroxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchroman-2-carboxylic acid (Trolox) in the layered structure of LDH. It was found that by anchoring the phenolic moieties to the LDH layers the antioxidant power is retained in the case of Trolox, and even amplified in the case of IrganoxCOOH. A small amount of the two AO-LDHs was incorporated into poly(lactic acid), PLA, by solution mixing and melt extrusion. Bērnu un pusaudžu ar uzmanības deficīta un hiperaktivitātes sindromu dzīves kvalitātes saistība ar klīniskajām izpausmēm

Darba mērķis ir novērtēt ar veselību saistīto dzīves kvalitāti bērniem un pusaudžiem ar diagnozi UDHS un apsvērt klīnisko izpausmju ietekmi uz to.Trīsdesmit trīs sākumskolas un pamatskolas skolēni vecumā no septiņiem līdz 17 gadiem ar diagnozi UDHS aizpildīja ar veselību saistītas dzīves kvalitātes anketu (KINDLR). Pacientu vecāki vai aizbildņi UDHS simptomu izteiktības novērtēšanai aizpildīja UDHS reitinga skalu-IV. Rezultāti: No visiem dzīves kvalitātes aspektiem visaugstāk pacienti novērtēja emocionālo labsajūtu (81,3%) un ģimenes vidi (78,8%).Viszemākie rezultāti bija novērojami skolas jeb ikdienas darbības domēnā (64,6%).
