Background: The aim of this study was to compare the intraocular pressure (IOP) and the central corneal thickness (CCT) measurements obtained with the Canon TX-20P™ with IOP measured with Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT) and the CCT measured with ultrasound (US) pachymetry in healthy eyes. Methods: Thirty one healthy voluntary subjects participated in the study, age ranging from 16 to 81 years (mean age 50.9 years). In total 58 eyes were selected for analysis. For a connected graph G and an integer k ≥ 1, a linear radio k-labeling of G is an assignment f of nonnegative integers to the vertices of G such that |f(x)−f(y)| ≥ k+1−dG(x,y), for any two distinct vertices x and y, where dG(x,y) is the distance between x and y in G. We introduce a contractive condition involving new auxiliary function and prove a fixed point theorem for closed multivalued maps on complete metric spaces. An example and an application to integral equation are given in support of our findings.

As far as human resource management practices (HRM) are concerned, how do French companies respond to corporate social responsibility (CSR)? Are they eager to develop practices beyond the existing legal rules? To answer these questions, we present the results of an inquiry involving 106 HR managers who mainly belong to large manufacturing companies. Abstract Background Appointment no-show and early dropout from treatment represent major challenges in outpatient substance use disorder treatment, adversely affecting clinical outcomes and health care productivity. In this quasi-experimental study, we examined how a brief reminder intervention for new patients before their first appointment affected treatment participation and retention.
