While watermarking methods are numerous in the multimedia setting, databases present various specificities. This work addresses some of them: how to watermark a numerical database while preserving the result of interesting aggregate queries, how to watermark a structured stream like a typed XML stream or a symbolic music score, how to watermark geographical data sets.
Thermalization of hot electrons via interfacial electron-magnon interaction

Recent work on layered structures of superconductors (S) or normal metals (N) in contact with ferromagnetic insulators (FI) has shown how the properties of the previous can be strongly affected by the magnetic proximity effect due to the static FI magnetization. Here we show that such structures can also exhibit a new electron thermalization mechanism due to the coupling of electrons with the dynamic magnetization, i.e., magnons in FI. In this work the implementation of a database of digitized mammograms is described. The digitized images were collected since 1999 by a community of physicists in collaboration with radiologists in several Italian hospitals, as a first step in order to develop and implement a Computer Aided Detection (CAD) system. 3369 mammograms were collected from 967 patients; they were classified according to the type and the morphology of the lesions, the type of the breast tissue and the type of pathologies. We present the first parallel medical application for the analysis of dynamic positron emission tomography (PET) images together with a practical performance model. The parallel application may improve the diagnosis for a patient (e. g. in epilepsy surgery) because it enables the fast computation of parametric images on a pixed level as opposed to the traditionally used region of interest (ROI) approach which is applied to determine an average parametric value for a particular anatomic region of the brain. Objective: This article reviews the literature on biomaterials used for bone regeneration. Material and method: A total of seventeen bibliographic sources were found using the MEDLINE database and to avoid the variability of the search terms the thesaurus Mesh was used. Results: These materials act essentially due to their osteoconductive ability, although their osteoinductive capacity is being improved with the use of growth factors. As to their effectiveness, many differences exist between them and some even affect bone regeneration negatively.
