En este trabajo abordamos la problemática anterior desde una nueva perspectiva. A Simple System Based on a Thiourea-Modified Fluorescein for ω-Amino Acid Discrimination

A thiourea-modified fluorescein derivative was synthesized by reaction of fluorescein isothiocyanate with 2-(2-aminoethoxy)ethan-1-ol. UV/Vis absorption and fluorescence emission spectroscopy studies demonstrated that this heteroditopic receptor was able to discriminate among linear aliphatic ω-amino acids with different chain lengths.

The importance of tetraamino calix[4]arenes as starting materials is distinctly increased by the first versatile protective group for opposite amino functions. Reaction with trityl chloride leads to the 1,3-dialkylated derivative easily isolated in 34% yield; after a first acylation of the remaining amino groups, the trityl residues can be removed by TFA to introduce a second acyl group. Conformations and some electronic properties of the 2,2′-bisindolyls 6 were calculated for the prediction of probable Diels-Alder reactivity, in analogy to previous work on 2-vinylindoles. First reactions with dienophiles revealed that compounds 6 did not participate in [4 + 2]cycloadditions but rather underwent simple electrophilic substitutions at the enamine function with, above all, some heterodienophiles. NOseq: amplicon sequencing evaluation method for RNA m6A sites after chemical deamination

Abstract Methods for the detection of m6A by RNA-Seq technologies are increasingly sought after. We here present NOseq, a method to detect m6A residues in defined amplicons by virtue of their resistance to chemical deamination, effected by nitrous acid. Partial deamination in NOseq affects all exocyclic amino groups present in nucleobases and thus also changes sequence information. The method uses a mapping algorithm specifically adapted to the sequence degeneration caused by deamination events. Aim To evaluate the impact of herpesvirus type-1 and -2 on the clinical outcomes of periodontal regenerative procedures in isolated deep intrabony pockets, in an experimental population with no detectable periodontal pathogens. Within the framework of a FISH screening protocol to detect cryptic subtelomeric rearrangements in autistic disorder (AD), a patient bearing three copies of the subtelomeric portion of the q arm of chromosome 13 has been identified. Beside AD, the patient also has severe mental retardation and displays several dysmorphic features. Postmortem distribution of dihydrocodeine and metabolites in a fatal case of dihydrocodeine intoxication.

A report of a fatal dihydrocodeine ingestion under substitution therapy is given. Quantitation of dihydrocodeine, dihydromorphine, N-nordihydrocodeine, dihydrocodeine-6-, dihydromorphine-6- and dihydromorphine-3-glucuronide was performed simultaneously after solid-phase extraction prior to HPLC analysis, and the analytes were detected using their native fluorescence. Postmortem concentrations of blood samples from different sampling sites as well as from liver, kidney and cerebrum are reported.
