Feminizm i pragmatyzm: przeszłość i wskazówki na przyszłość

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wspólnych dla pragmatyzmu i feminizmu obszarów zainteresowań oraz idei. Zadanie to zostaje zrealizowane w dwóch etapach. Po pierwsze, badanie historycznych korzeni pragmatyzmu służy rzuceniu światła na powiązania istniejące pomiędzy wczesnopragmatystycznymi ideami a ideałami ruchu feministycznego. Na tym etapie przedmiotem analizy są koncepcje: C.S. Peirce’a, W. Jamesa, J. Deweya, J. Addams i R. Rorty’ego. National audience; Mes travaux portent entre autres sur la féminisation du football et les inégalités qui y subsistent. J’interroge notamment la place prise ou laissée aux femmes dans cet espace encore fortement dominé par les hommes. Mon intervention portera donc sur les formes « subtiles » d’inégalités que vivent les footballeuses en France, malgré un engouement sans précédent de la pratique et une exposition médiatique désormais considérable. La subtilité de ces inégalités reposent notamment la question de la définition ou de la qualification de la notion d’inégalité versus discrimination.
Temporal loudness weights are frequency specific

Previous work showed that the beginning of a sound is more important for the perception of loudness than later parts. When a short silent gap of sufficient duration is inserted into a sound, this primacy effect reoccurs in the second sound part after the gap. The present study investigates whether this temporal weighting occurs independently for different frequency bands. Sounds consisting of two bandpass noises were presented in four different conditions: (1) a simultaneous gap in both bands, (2) a gap in only the lower frequency band, (3) a gap in only the higher frequency band, or (4) no gap. The aim of this paper is to analyse the evolution of gender balance in the Italian Constitutional system with respect to electoral representation (Art. 51th of the Italian Constitution). Effective achieving of electoral representation has been heavily difficult for women in Italy. In 2010 the Constitutional Judge recognized the necessity of gender balance measures. However, the instruments provided by laws had not any real success and women are not effectively represented in political Assemblies.
On the discrimination of spatial intervals by the blind cave fish (Anoptichthys jordani).

The performance of the blind cave fish in discriminating spatial intervals was investigated. The fish had to discriminate between pairs of grids consisting of equidistant vertical bars. The intervals between the bars on the grid to be chosen were kept constant while the intervals between the bars on the other grid were altered in steps so as to become gradually closer to the interval between the bars on the grid to be chosen. It was found that the fish were still able to discriminate between the two grids when the difference between the bar intervals amounted to at least 1.5 mm. La reciente construcción de una epidemia de obesidad global favorece que -además de ser estéticamente deseable- la delgadez se considere autoevidencia del estado de salud del individuo y marca de moralidad. En esta autoetnografía reflexiono sobre mi vivencia de ser gorda desde la infancia hasta la adultez, desde un enfoque sociológico feminista. La imposición cultural de la delgadez y la gordofobia alimentaron sentimientos de incapacidad, inadecuación corporal y sufrimiento psicológico que promovieron conductas alimentarias problemáticas.
