This thesis studies the entrance to firms of the science Ph.D graduates, notably as industrial researcher. Particularly, the impacts of collaborations between the academic sphere and the industry are examined. In this perspective, the first part is dedicated to the elaboration of a frame of analysis. This one establish links between the process of production of the knowledge, the training and the access to the labour market. The analysis of the preparation of the doctorate allows to define both the attributes common to all science Ph.D graduates, and the specific characteristics engendered by the existence of industrial collaborations. Modes of access to the academic career are generally regarded as crucial element of policy on science and higher education in a country. This can influence the future productivity of teaching and research in different countries. Our research is specifically concerned with the factors that may explain the conditions that lead to integration of researchers and lecturers in the academic career in France. More precisely, the paper analyses the factors affecting the access duration to a permanent job in the French academic sector. Firstly, we propose an assessment of the labour market situation of PhD graduates three years after the completion of their theses, using a standard categorical analysis of labour market activities. Secondly, we use unemployment durations to study the difficulties PhD graduates encounter when they enter the labour market.
