Endokrinologische Vorhersage der Therapieansprechbarkeit depressiver Patienten auf Lofepramin

1979

In a pilot study of 15 depressive patients of the neurotic and endogenous type we could show that some neuroendocrinological parameters are apt to predict the thymoleptic efficacy of lofepramine. These parameters, which were measured with a simple global stimulation test (insulin hypoglycaemia combined with injection of TRH and LHRH), were as follows: high basal blood glucose; high hypoglycaemic blood glucose; high decrease of blood glucose in comparison to the basal level; low basal TSH; low increase of HGH and low increase of cortisol after hypoglycemia. A synopsis of these parameters allowed a correct classification of 14 out of 15 patients according to therapy response and therapy resis…

In vitro glucuronidation of 7-hydroxycoumarin derivatives in intestine and liver microsomes of Beagle dogs

2019

Beagle dog is a standard animal model for evaluating nonclinical pharmacokinetics of new drug candidates. Glucuronidation in intestine and liver is an important first-pass drug metabolic pathway, especially for phenolic compounds. This study evaluated the glucuronidation characteristics of several 7-hydroxycoumarin derivatives in beagle dog's intestine and liver in vitro. To this end, glucuronidation rates of 7-hydroxycoumarin (compound 1), 7-hydroxy-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin (2), 6-methoxy-7-hydroxycoumarin (3), 7-hydroxy-3-(4-tolyl)coumarin (4), 3-(4-fluorophenyl)coumarin (5), 7-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)coumarin (6), 7-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)coumarin (7), and 7-hydroxy-3-(1H-1,2,4-t…

A Smart Village as an Opportunity for Development of Borderland Areas of the Czech Republic and Poland

2018

In the conditions of sustainable development, a smart village is supposed to provide an answer to social, economic and environmental challenges which rural areas of Europe are faced with in the 21st century. The aim of the study is to identify and analyze the social developmental potential of villages located in Opole Region. On the basis of questionnaire- based survey research carried out in 2018 among 100 managers of trade agricultural holdings based in Opole Province, the authors undertake to answer the question: Can the existing social capital be the driving force of smart transformation of rural areas in this region? In the study, networks of cooperation which are being formed in the b…

Dogmat – początek, rozwój czy koniec refleksji?

2017

In Catholic theology use of the term “dogma” is the most frequently associated with the normative dimension of faith. The above given title while speaking about “reflction” seems in addition to limit the meaning of the notion of “dogma” to the cognitive matters. Historical and substantive regard to the understanding of dogma doesn’t allow such a restriction. The article tries to explain it in four points. The origin of dogma as a notion and in its contents was shown on the basis of biblical and patristic texts as well as in the light of the fist councils (1). The development of the understanding of dogma up to the present times was shown on the selected examples – to begin with Vincent of L…

Microstructure and characteristic properties of dogfish skin gelatin gels prepared by freeze/spray-drying methods

2020

International audience; The effects of two pretreatments (microwaves or oven-drying) on the dogfish (Squalus acanthias) skin as well as two drying processes (freeze-drying or spray-drying) on the extracted gelatins were studied. Thus six types of gelatins were obtained, three of which were freeze-dried (FG) and the others were spray-dried (SG), from the untreated skin (US), microwaves-pretreated skin (MS) and oven-pretreated skin (OS). The highest yield (8.67%) was obtained for the OSFG, while the lowest one (3.06%) was measured for the OSSG. Interestingly, all gelatins exhibited relatively high protein (84.02-89.53%), and low lipid (0.50-1.71%) and ash (3.05-7.17%) contents. In addition, g…

Ongelmaeläimyyden monet ja muuttuvat määrittelyt

2022

Biotic and abiotic soil properties influence survival of Listeria monocytogenes in soil

2013

International audience; Listeria monocytogenes is a food-borne pathogen responsible for the potentially fatal disease listeriosis and terrestrial ecosystems have been hypothesized to be its natural reservoir. Therefore, identifying the key edaphic factors that influence its survival in soil is critical. We measured the survival of L. monocytogenes in a set of 100 soil samples belonging to the French Soil Quality Monitoring Network. This soil collection is meant to be representative of the pedology and land use of the whole French territory. The population of L. monocytogenes in inoculated microcosms was enumerated by plate count after 7, 14 and 84 days of incubation. Analysis of survival pr…

Reconstruction of human subsistence and husbandry strategies from the Iberian Early Neolithic: A stable isotope approach

2018

Objectives The Early Neolithic involved an important social and economic shift that can be tested not only with the material culture, but also through biomolecular approaches. The Iberian Peninsula presents few Early Neolithic sites where fauna and humans can be analyzed together from an isotopic perspective. Here we present an isotopic study on the site of Cueva de Chaves as an example for understanding the dietary and economical changes that took place during Early Neolithic in Iberia. Material and methods Here we apply carbon and nitrogen stable isotope analysis to bone collagen from 4 humans and 64 faunal samples from 14 different species. The large dataset belongs to the same unique ch…

Approche d'un territoire de montagne : occupations humaines et contexte pédo-sédimentaire des versants du col du Petit-Saint-Bernard, de la Préhistoi…

2014

As part of a multi-year programme, survey campaigns have been carried out on both slopes of the Petit-Saint-Bernard pass (2188 m, western Alps), at an altitude of between 750 and 3000 m. The method employed abandons ground-based surveying in favour of multiple manual surveys carried out on selected topographic contexts down to the base of the Holocene fill. The results obtained document the longterm development of the pedo-sedimentary dynamic and the occupation of the different altitude stages. The significance of the archaeological data collected is discussed in relation to the state of knowledge in a comparison area including the neighbouring valleys of the western Alps, to existing settl…

Augšējā devona Šķerveļa svītas dolokrētu uzbūve un sastāvs Lētīžas grīvas atsegumā

2015
