La genealogía de mujeres viajeras posee una larga historia en la que Egeria y su Peregrinatio ad Loca Sancta del siglo IV ocupan un lugar de privilegio. En este marco, el presente estudio enmarca el relato, en primer lugar, en la política del cristianismo fundacional y demuestra que esta viajera pía construye un modelo femenino fuera de lo esperado para las mujeres de la Roma imperial. Emotional dysregulation, age, gender, and obesity are transdiagnostic risk factors for the development and maintenance of eating disorders (EDs). First determination of magma-derived gas emissions from Bromo volcano, eastern Java (Indonesia)

The composition and fluxes of volcanic gases released by persistent open-vent degassing at Bromo Volcano, east Java (Indonesia), were characterised in September 2014 from both in-situ Multi-GAS analysis and remote spectroscopic (dual UV camera) measurements of volcanic plume emissions. Our results demonstrate that Bromo volcanic gas is water-rich (H2O/SO2 ratios of 56-160) and has CO2/SO2 (4.1 +/- 0.7) and CO2/S-tot (3.2 +/- 0.7) ratios within the compositional range of other high-temperature magma-derived gases in Indonesia. H-2/H2O and H2S/SO2 ratios constrain a magmatic gas source with minimal temperature of 700 degrees C and oxygen fugacity of 10(-17)-10(-18) bars. UV camera sensing on …

Women-translators in Russia

The paper considers the history of women’s involvement in translation in Russia. The emphasis is laid on social issues of women translators’ work. The main problems discussed are as follows: How have women contributed to social and literary processes? To what extent were translational activities of women different and/or separate from those of men? Women participated in all major social processes in Russian and Soviet history. From the eighteenth century onwards to the present day, they have been involved in translational work and other types of social-systemic transfer (primarily from the West). Women played their role of translators in the same spheres where men did.

Abstract In the framework of the EU fusion roadmap implementing activities, an accelerator-based Li(d,xn) neutron source called DONES (Demo-Oriented early NEutron Source) is being designed within the EUROfusion Work Package Early Neutron Source as an essential irradiation facility for testing candidate materials for DEMO reactor and future fusion power plants.
