The study deals with a graphic analysis of the city of Agrigento through the identification of the territorial, urban and architectural peculiarities that have designed its evolution. Starting from the landscape representations realized since the sixteenth century, the views from the sea by Spannocchi, the glances on the apric territory by Pancrazi, the Hellenic ruins inside the medieval Girgenti by Martorana and the Grand Tour travelers’ productions, the urban transformations of Agrigento are reconstructed starting from the points of view adopted by the draftsmen. Il lavoro si pone come obiettivo la ricostruzione congetturale del progetto dell’Eden Teatro Biondo (1912) a Palermo di Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857–1932) a partire dai disegni originari. L’edifico propone una tipologia che fonde cinematografo (al piano terra) e teatro (al piano superiore). Pensato su un fronte di Piazza Verdi, non sarà realizzato per i costi ritenuti troppo elevati dai committenti. Le scansioni dei disegni originari (conservati presso il Fondo Basile del Dipartimento di Architettura dell’Università di Palermo) hanno consentito la vettorializzazione piana utilizzata per l’analisi e per la modellazione 3D. Whilst the quality of early childhood education and care (ECEC) is being monitored increasingly closely, various documentation methods and practices that aim at recording and assessing children’s advancement and activities have expanded in ECEC. The research on the impact of such documentation methods on grassroots-level practices is however currently scarce. This chapter illuminates the role of a specific documentation method—that is, a child’s ECEC plan—in parent–teacher meetings in Finnish ECEC. As it is generally known, the main goal of classical town planning is to carefully plan the use of the territory and its resources in order to protect them against incompatible economic activities. Historically, in Italy, as in a number of other European countries, the legal equirement that is derived from this assumption is the acknowledgement that the physical development of cities and territories falls within the main goals of the state. Educar en diseño es probablemente la base para una predisposición social hacia la creatividad y la innovación. Presentamos los resultados de una investigación desarrollada en la práctica universitaria, formulada metodológicamente como estudio de caso. Incorporamos la práctica del diseño gráfico al currículum formativo de Maestro/a en Educación Primaria. Si queremos que la ciudadanía aprecie el diseño, conviene preparar al profesorado. Para lograr este acercamiento al diseño gráfico planteamos un taller en el que cada participante elabora su propio exlibris. Effective safety procedures play a fundamental role in high-risk industrial contexts, because the occurrence of an accident can cause environmental catastrophes, severe damages to the structures, and fatal injuries to the workers.
