Mutations of the p53 gene often result in the overexpression of p53 protein. Previous studies have suggested that the function of p53 and its mutant protein forms may be linked with the disease course of patients with a breast carcinoma. In the present study, we tested 462 primary breast carcinomas for the presence of p53 antigen using immunohistochemical methods employing antibodies against the clone, DO-1. The biological significance of the differential expression of cytokeratin (CK) polypeptides in breast carcinomas is unclear. We examined the CK profiles of 101 primary infiltrating ductal breast carcinomas using monoclonal antibodies directed against 11 different CKs and against vimentin. Two major CK phenotypes were distinguished: first, a phenotype expressing only the simple-epithelial CKs 7 (variably), 8, 18 and 19, and secondly, a bimodal phenotype co-expressing significant amounts of one or more of the stratified-epithelial CKs 4, 14 and 17. The dynamics of a two-dimensional $\mathrm{H}_{2}^{+}$ molecule interacting with a strong laser pulse beyond the usual approximation of fixed nuclei is presented. The motion of the nuclei is studied by using the classical Newton laws while the electron is described with a full quantal treatment. The axis of the molecule, initially not aligned to the laser field, performs a long-period pendular motion around the laser polarization axis. Vibrational degrees of freedom are seen to be excited. The radiation emitted by the oscillating charges presents variations that are synchronous to the pendular motion. Turbulent Superfluid Profiles and Vortex Density Waves in a Counterflow Channel

In this paper we study the two-dimensional profiles of the superfluid component velocity and the quantized vortex-points density in a counterflow channel where the influence of the walls cannot be neglected. The numerical results obtained show the presence of vortex density waves in the channel, as shown in a recent paper by means of the one-fluid model.

In previous papers a phase field model for λ-transition in 4He was proposed, which is able to describe the influence of the heat flux on the temperature transition. The model presented here generalizes previous results taking into account of a homogeneous presence of quantized vortices below the λ-transition. This paper is concerned with the derivation of a phase field model for λ-transition in 4He, when the liquid is subject to pressure and heat flux. As parameter that controls the transition, a field f that is the geometrical mean between the density of the fluid and that of the superfluid is used. The resulting model, that is a generalization of previous papers on the same subject, chooses as field variables the density, the velocity, the temperature and the heat flux, in addition to this field f.
