Anotācija Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot substrāta parametru ietekmi uz briofītu sugu bagātību, sugu sastopamību un sugu sadalījumu pa funkcionālajām grupām (dzīves formu un dzīves stratēģiju) dažādās meža augu sabiedrībās, kā arī izpētīt sūnu sugu sastāva mainību Moricsalā pēdējo 100 gadu laikā. Par pētāmo teritoriju izvēlēts Moricsalas dabas rezervātā, kas ir senākā aizsargājamā dabas teritorija Latvijā un ilgstoši neskartās dabas dēļ īpaši piemērota sūnu ekoloģijas izpētei. Fractional-Fourier-transform calculation through the fast-Fourier-transform algorithm.

A method for the calculation of the fractional Fourier transform (FRT) by means of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm is presented. The process involves mainly two FFT’s in cascade; thus the process has the same complexity as this algorithm. The method is valid for fractional orders varying from −1 to 1. Scaling factors for the FRT and Fresnel diffraction when calculated through the FFT are discussed.

Metastatic growth in breast cancer (BC) has been proposed as an exclusive property of cancer stem cells (CSCs). However, formal proof of their identity as cells of origin of recurrences at distant sites and the molecular events that may contribute to tumor cell dissemination and metastasis development are yet to be elucidated. In this study, we analyzed a set of patient-derived breast cancer stem cell (BCSC) lines. We found that in vitro BCSCs exhibit a higher chemoresistance and migratory potential when compared with differentiated, nontumorigenic, breast cancer cells (dBCCs). In the outer suburbs of Paris, the automobile is the key element that determines the location of general services and the access of households to those services. A calcareous and clayey xeric Chromic Haploxerept of a long-term experimental site in Sicily (Italy) was sampled (0–15 cm depth) under different land use management and cropping systems (CSs) to study their effect on soil aggregate stability and organic carbon (SOC). The experimental site had three tillage managements (no till [NT], dual-layer [DL] and conventional tillage [CT]) and two CSs (durum wheat monocropping [W] and durum wheat/faba bean rotation [WB]). The annually sequestered SOC with W was 2·75-times higher than with WB. SOC concentrations were also higher. Both NT and CT management systems were the most effective in SOC sequestration whereas with DL system no C was sequestered. …

Sanfilippo, Probabilistic logic under coherence, model-theoretic probabilistic logic, and default reasoning in System P, Journal of Applied Non-Classical Logics 12(2) (2002) 189---213.], we have explored the relationship between probabilistic reasoning under coherence and model-theoretic probabilistic reasoning. In particular, we have shown that the notions of g-coherence and of g-coherent entailment in probabilistic reasoning under coherence can be expressed by combining notions in model-theoretic probabilistic reasoning with concepts from default reasoning. Deep learning for the automated detection of epileptic seizures has received much attention during recent years. In this work, one dimensional convolutional neural network (1D-CNN) and two dimensional convolutional neural network (2D-CNN) are simultaneously used on electroencephalogram (EEG) data for seizure detection. Firstly, using sliding windows without overlap on raw EEG to obtain the definite one-dimension time EEG segments (1D-T), and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) for 1D-T signals to obtain the two-dimension time-frequency representations (2D-TF). Le village actuel de Fontaines, situé à environ 8 km au N.-O. de Chalon-sur-Saône, se développe sur 1,5 km de long selon un unique axe E-O, depuis la montagne Saint-Hilaire à l’ouest, occupée au Néolithique puis durant l’Antiquité tardive et le haut Moyen Âge, jusqu’à l’église paroissiale Saint-Just, à l’est. Malgré une emprise limitée et contrainte par de nombreux réseaux existants, l’opération a permis de documenter l’environnement immédiat de l’église, occupé depuis l’Antiquité jusqu’à nos jours.
