Influence of low methoxyl pectin gel textures and in vitro release of rutin from calcium pectinate beads.

This study described the preparation and characterization of low methoxyl pectin (LMP) gels and beads for controlled release applications. The rheological characterization of the various formulations was proposed. Then the mechanical and morphological characterizations of beads were determined. Finally, the controlled release studies taking rutin as a model drug was evaluated. The results showed that Young's modulus values of non-amidated LMP gels decrease when adding up to 15% sorbitol. Calcium pectinate beads loaded with rutin are about 600 μm, oblong shaped with dense matrix. Landscape Ecological Structure in the Eastern Part of the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, Latvia Latvia is a country where the forest area has increased and habitat fragmentation has reversed compared with many other European countries. In order to examine the effect of this expansion on biodiversity, vegetation maps dating from 2002 and the years 1930-1936 were used for comparative landscape structure analyses while archive materials from forest plans, and data from the national forest management database were used for land use analysis. The adsorption of water vapor on super absorbent product at low temperatures and low mass.

The adsorption isotherms of water vapor on super absorbent product have the same form of type III isotherm at ambient temperature with the hysteresis phenomena. For temperatures lower than ambient, the isotherms become deformed because of the chains effect. The polymer is characterized by a multilayer adsorption, which occurs before a full-course is complete. During adsorption reactions, the polymer undergoes rearrangement polymeric network, which results from a cooperative diffusion of the water molecules and from a chain spacing followed by an expansion of the polymeric network. This work deals with corner and junction detection of characteristic features of the structure resulting from cross-pattern projection. Computer-aided diagnosis is developed for assessment of allergic rhinitis/rhinoconjunctivitis measuring the relative redness of sclera under application of allergen solution. The patient’s eye images are taken from commercial digital camera. The iris is robustly localized using a gradient-based Hough circle transform. From the center of the pupil, the region of interest within the sclera is extracted using geometric anatomybased a-priori information.
