Pirms- un pēcrediģēšanas posms automatizētas tulkošanas procesā

Profesionāliem tulkiem ir liela prasība pēc automatizētās tulkošana, bet, diemžēl, mašīntulkošanas sistēmas daudzu ierobežojumu dēļ nevar ražot tekstu, kas būtu līdzīgi cilvēka tulkojumam. Tomēr, pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošana mašīntulkošanā var paaugstināt mašīntulkojamību. Tādējādi, pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošanu angļu juridisko tekstu automatizēto tulkošanu krievu valodā. Kritiskā diskursa analīze bija izmantota kā empirīskā pētījuma metode. Pēdējā desmitgadē mašīntulkošana ir ievērojami attīstījusies un tiek plaši izmantota tulkošanas nozarē, lai izpildītu pieaugošo pieprasījumu pēc ātrākiem tulkojumiem un samazinātu izmaksas. Lai maksimāli palielinātu mašīntulkošanas efektivitāti un iegūtu augstas kvalitātes tulkojumu, mašīntulkošanas darbplūsmā parasti tiek iekļauti divi papildus procesi: rediģēšana pirms un pēc mašīntulkošanas. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt gan latviešu, gan angļu ziņu diskursu, kā arī salīdzināt divu mašīntulkošanas rīku – Google Translate un Tilde Translator – efektivitāti, tulkojot ziņu rakstus no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. First World War Diaries: Making the Private Public

This article analyses several World War I Diaries written by soldiers on the Front. Starting with the circumstances of publication and their effects on the text, the article addresses the passage of these very private texts into public life, before turning to the role played by the diaries for the soldiers who write them. Studies of the diary as a genre are used to show how war diaries fit into the more general genre. Finally the article turns to the reception of these works, by studying what part literary distance may play for the soldiers keeping a diary, and by arguing that the task of making sense of these texts has been transferred to present-day readers.

Scientific journals are facing an increasing competition directly impacting publishers and editorial boards. In addition, access to scientific information and reading patterns have deeply changed. From 2003 the journal Agronomy for Sustainable Development (ASD) has adapted its editorial policy to this highly competitive and moving environment in order to stand out and improve its impact (1).
