Structure of self-rated health among the oldest old: Analyses in the total population and those living with dementia

No previous study has explored the structure of self-rated health (SRH), a measure holding strong predictive value for future health events, in the oldest old or in individuals with dementia. The aim was to construct a structural equation model of SRH for oldest old in general and for oldest old with dementia, and to explore direct and indirect associations between health-related factors and SRH. Despite the popularity of research on intrapersonal communication across many disciplines, there has been little attention devoted to the factors that might account for individual differences in talking to oneself. In this paper, I explore two possible explanations for who people might differ in the frequency of their self-talk. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas ir kognitīvo izkropļojumu, pārbaudījumu trauksmes un akadēmiskās pašefektivitātes savstarpējās saistības studentu vidū un vai vērojamas atšķirības mainīgo saistībās sieviešu un vīriešu izlasēs, kā arī noskaidrot atšķirības pārbaudījumu trauksmes un akadēmisko pašefektivitātes rādītājos dažādos studiju kursos un noteikt kādā mērā kognitīvo izkropļojumu izteiktība prognozē pārbaudījumu trauksmi un akadēmisko pašefektivitāti studentiem. ResumenEste estudio tuvo como objetivo poner a prueba un mo­delo de mediación multinivel que examinó las relaciones entre la percepción del clima motivacional generado por los entrenadores a nivel de equipo y los afectos y el burnout a nivel individual, mediados por la motivación autodeterminada. Between June 2000 and April 2003 sixteen patients (11 men and 5 women, age range 63-82) were found suffering from malignant colorectal obstruction.
