Pupils’ mathematical self-concept in the beginning of the sixth grade

The article shows the mathematical self-concept of the sixth grade pupils (n=57) in relation to their mathematical skills in school. Mathematical skills were measured with the help of a survey of the command of the decimal system and on the basis of the report grades in mathematics. The pupils’ mathematical self-concept was surveyed in the beginning of the sixth grade with the interviews and a questionnaire using the Likert-scale. The mathematical self-concept seemed to be more positive the better the mathematics skills pupils had. peerReviewed

Rather than having a consistent food policy, countries often tend to regulate food from the margins of other policy domains such as agricultural, environmental, welfare or educational policies. Regulatory interventions perceive food as an instrument rather than a domain with its own specific set of policy issues and view food provision as an activity to achieve certain economic, social and environmental objectives. This fragments the food policy into disintegrated points of interventions from various policy areas and leaves unregulated voids that can be exploited either to improve or to reduce the effectiveness of the interventions. Līdzjūtības pret sevi saistība ar emociju regulēšanas stratēģiju izvēli

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saistības starp līdzjūtību pret sevi un emociju regulēšanas stratēģiju izvēli. Pētījumā tika aptaujāti 81 respondents vecumā no 18 līdz 70 gadiem, kuri aizpildīja divas sekojošas aptaujas: Iejūtības pret sevi skalu (Self-Compassion Scale (SCS), Neff, 2003), kuru Latvijā adaptējusi Liliāna Tamsone, 2015. gadā un Emociju regulācijas aptauju (Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Gross & John, 2003), kuras sākotnējo veikusi Marija Morozova, 2011. gadā, un uzlabojumu veicis Emīls Ūdris un Edmunds Vanags 2017. gadā, kā arī demogrāfisko datu anketu. Nesuicidāls paškaitējums, emociju regulācija un vardarbības pieredze pusaudžiem

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot saistības starp nesuicidāla paškaitējuma veidiem un motīviem, emociju regulācijas dimensijām un vardarbības pieredzi. Izlasi veidoja 82 pusaudži vecumā no 14 – 18 gadiem, vidējais vecums – 15,71 gadi, no kuriem 54 bija meitenes (66 %) un 28 bija zēni (34 %). Nesuicidālais paškaitējums, nesuicidālā paškaitējuma iznākuma ekspektācijas un emociju regulācija pusaudžu un jaunu pieaugušo izlasē

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot nesuicidāla paškaitējuma (NP) saistības ar NP iznākuma ekspektācijām un emociju regulāciju Latvijas pusaudžu un jaunu pieaugušo izlasē. Izlasi veidoja 92 abu dzimumu pusaudži un jauni pieaugušie vecumā no 14-30 gadiem, vidējais vecums – 20,08 gadi, 57 sievietes (62%) un 35 vīrieši (38%). NP ekspektācijas tika noteiktas ar Nesuicidālā Paškaitējuma iznākuma ekspektāciju aptauju (The Nonsuicidal Self-Injury Expectancies Questionnaire, Hasking & Boyes, 2017). Vizuālās informācijas ietekme uz sāpju slieksni.

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 36 lapam. Tas satur 17 attēlus, 4 tabulas u 82 atsauces. Mērķis: Izpētīt, kā dažādas tematiskās fotogrāfijas modulē sāpju noteikšanas sliekšņus, un novērtētu emocionālās fotogrāfijas izmantojot pašnovērtējuma manekenu metodi (SAM). Metodes: 21 sievietei sāpju noteikšanas sliekšņi tika izmērīti ar pakāpeniski pieaugoša sprieguma padevi dalībnieku apakšdelmiem. Rezultāti: Sāpju noteikšanas sliekšņi tika samazināti ar negatīvām valences fotogrāfijām (attēlojot vardarbību, dzīvnieku un cilvēku uzbrukumus, zaudējumus). Per promuovere un atteggiamento scientifico negli insegnanti, i ricercatori che usano un metodo empirico in campo educativo, devono autocontrollarsi affinché, consapevolmente o no, alcuni atteggiamenti personali non inficino la validità dei risultati ottenuti. To promote a scientific attitude in teachers, researchers who use an empirical method in the educational field, they have to self-control so that, knowingly or not, some personal attitudes do not affect validity of the results achieved.
