Augsts angļu valodas prasmes līmenis ir viena no prasībām darbam aviācijas nozarē, kur angļu valoda ir darba valoda. Pētījumā tika izmantota gadījuma izpēte, kuras mērķis bija izvērtēt izvēlēto stjuartu angļu valodas mācību grāmatu un tiešsaistes materiālu lietderību valodas apguvei pašmācības ceļā. Pētījumā iesaistītie stjuarti vēlējās uzlabot visas valodu prasmes, kā arī uzskatīja, ka šādos materiālos ir jābūt iekļautiem ar gramatiku, leksiku un izrunu saistītiem uzdevumiem, pārbaudes darbiem, vizuāliem līdzekļiem, apgūstamo vārdu sarakstiem un dažādiem papildmateriāliem. Se analiza longitudinalmente la capacidad predictiva de un conjunto de variables motivacionales sobre el rendimiento matemático. Los análisis se realizan, en una muestra de 180 sujetos, con datos evaluados en dos momentos (Educación Infantil 5 años y 2º curso de Primaria). También se estudian las diferencias entre dos grupos, con rendimiento matemático medio y bajo al finalizar el primer ciclo de Primaria, en las variables motivacionales evaluadas en el primer momento. The temporal relations of adolescents' basic need satisfaction in physical education and global self-worth

This study investigated the temporal relations of adolescents’ basic need satisfaction in physical education (PE) and global self-worth in a sample of 3,398 lower and upper secondary school students (49% boys, 51% girls, average age T1 = 15.00, SD = 1.79). Four models and competing hypotheses were tested, and the model with bidirectional paths specified showed the best fit to the data. The bidirectional effect estimates suggest not only that basic need satisfaction in PE predicts global self-worth development but also that adolescents’ perceptions of global self-worth predict the degree to which they experience basic need satisfaction in PE. When Fiscal Consolidation Meets Private Deleveraging

We analyze the interaction between fiscal consolidation and private-sector deleveraging in an economy within a monetary union. Pre-existing long term collateralized private debt – a core ingredient of the deleveraging process – plays a critical role in shaping fiscal multipliers. By buffering the short-run fall in debtors’ spending capacity, long-run private debt reduces the short-run multipliers of aggressive (large and/or fast) consolidations. However, absent credibility concerns, aggressive consolidations raise the intensity and length of private deleveraging, causing higher output losses over the medium run.
