Rilkean Memories and the Self of a Robot

This paper discusses the concept of Rilkean memories, recently introduced by Mark Rowlands, to analyze the complex intermix of hardware and software related to the self of a robot. The Rilkean memory of an event is related to the trace of that episode left in the body of the individual. It transforms the act of remembering into behavioral and bodily dispositions, thus generating the peculiar behavioral style of the individual, which is at the basis of her autobiographical self. Avicenna is a strong proponent of what some of the later ones call qāʻidat al-wāḥid or ‘rule of the one’ (RO). The gist of RO states: from the one only one directly proceeds. In the secondary literature, discussion of this Avicennian rule is usually limited to a particular application of it i.e., the issue of emanation. As result, it’s not really clear what RO means, nor why Avicenna endorsed it. In this paper, I try and remedy this situation by doing two things – one on the taṣawwur front, the other on the tasdīq. We conducted a narrative inquiry among eleven early school leavers who were in prison when they were interviewed. Bezpieczeństwo pracowników społecznych jest warunkowane odpowiednimi determinantami. Do podstawowych zalicza się determinanty systemowe, determinanty osobowe oraz determinanty środowiskowe. W grupie determinant osobowych wyróżnia się cztery zasadnicze czynniki warunkujące bezpieczeństwo pracowników służb społecznych. Są to w szczególności: pozytywna selekcja do zawodu, predyspozycje osobowościowe, przygotowanie merytoryczne i morale zawodowe. Katalog ten jest otwarty i może być uzupełniany w toku dyskursu poświęconego zagadnieniom bezpieczeństwa pracowników tej profesji.

Samokontrola rozumiana jako zdolność do odraczania gratyfikacji i umiejętności koncentracji na celu w efekcie decyduje o wytrwałości w działaniu i osiąganiu celów życiowych. Autorka uzasadnia, iż kształtowanie umiejętności samokontroli jest zbieżne z celami wychowania resocjalizującego i dlatego nie można pomijać w oddziaływaniach resocjalizacyjnych wzmacniania samokontroli u wychowanków. Ponadto autorka wykorzystuje badania nad mechanizmami samokontroli do opracowania wskazówek metodycznych do pracy resocjalizacyjnej.

Samooszukiwanie jest klasyfikowane jako jeden z błędów decyzyjnych, utrudniający podejmowanie racjonalnych decyzji. Efektywność rynku finansowego jest zaś związana z przekonaniem, że uczestnicy rynku zachowują się racjonalnie, tj. maksymalizują swoją użyteczność i są w stanie poprawnie przetwarzać wszystkie napływające informacje. Skoro jednak są dowody na to, że anomalie rynku finansowego się zdarzają, należy uznać, że efektywność rynku jest tylko szczególną sytuacją, w jakiej ten rynek może się znaleźć.
