Artes marciales japonesas: prácticas corporales representativas de su identidad cultural

La implantación y difusión de las artes marciales japonesas en Occidente supuso la importación de prácticas socioculturales privadas de las premisas de su contexto de origen. ¿Cómo afrontar estas prácticas que son ajenas a nuestra identidad cultural? Una interpretación estricta exige entenderlas como prácticas corporales con una idiosincrasia cultural, caracterizadas por incorporar una experiencia vivencial en la que el cuerpo ocupa un lugar preeminente. Su enseñanza y aprendizaje se establecen a través de un sistema triangular integrado por una esencia espiritual, una forma técnica y una estructura física (sin-gi-tai), que se inserta en un proceso singular (shu-ha-ri).

Explaining Individual and Collective Programming Students’ Behavior by Interpreting a Black-Box Predictive Model

Predicting student performance as early as possible and analysing to which extent initial student behaviour could lead to failure or success is critical in introductory programming (CS1) courses, for allowing prompt intervention in a move towards alleviating their high failure rate. However, in CS1 performance prediction, there is a serious lack of studies that interpret the predictive model’s decisions. In this sense, we designed a long-term study using very fine-grained log-data of 2056 students, collected from the first two weeks of CS1 courses. Experiencia sobre la utilización de un mix de metodologías docentes en la educación universitaria de la contabilidad

En este trabajo se analiza la introducción de nuevas metodologías docentes a título experimental en un curso de contabilidad financiera. Las nuevas técnicas empleadas en clase han sido de varios tipos: mapas conceptuales, crucigramas, técnica del "puzzle" o aprendizaje cooperativo y test on-line, entre otras. Concretamente, se analiza la mejora en el rendimiento de los estudiantes mediante la comparación con resultados de otros años. The objective is to offer a theoretical model to help conceptualize ethics and to clarify the characteristics and constraints of the different ethical theories. An integral ethical approach must include three dimensions: norms, good and virtue. It is argued that each of these dimensions stems from a comprehensive anthropology that deals with understanding human action. The article describes the principal aspects in terms of the pursuit of objectives, principles to be followed and virtues to be acquired. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la representación de la actividad física que aparece en los libros de texto de Educación Física y su relación con los diferentes bloques de contenidos del área, en Educación Primaria. La muestra estuvo formada por un total de 3836 imágenes publicadas en 34 libros de texto pertenecientes a seis editoriales españolas, entre 2006 y 2013. La técnica de investigación fue el análisis de contenido mediante la herramienta SAIMEF. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el software SPSS 22.0. Este estudo trata dos manuais do professor de Educação Física elaborados no Brasil e aprovados no Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático (BRASIL, 2017). Especificamente, analisa as imagens de pessoas neles existentes, com vistas a verificar se existem estereótipos relacionados às práticas corporais. The aim of the present study is to determine the treatment given to the pictures of the body and physical activity in Physical Education’s textbooks for Primary School. The sample consists of 997 images of nine textbooks published by five publishers. A descriptive analysis was performed on the variables gender, age, race, and somatotype that refer to the body, and type, scope, space, and level of practice referred to physical activity.
