Word which becomes an image in the tradition of Syriac Christians. The paper examines the subject of figurative art in the theological space of the tradition of Syriac Churches. Even if in the early stage of their existence those communities were an integral part of Byzantine Empire, they developed a totally different pattern of the imaging, which didn’t consist in icons or in the other forms of the traditional art. Effect of the methacrylate-based endodontic sealer Epiphany on rat peritoneal macrophages viability

Objective: To evaluate the effect of the endodontic sealer Epiphany on rat peritoneal macrophages viability. Materials and methods: Peritoneal macrophages were obtained from Wistar rats and resuspended in RPMI- 1640 medium. Undiluted (crude extract) and diluted extracts to 10%, 1%, 0.1%, 0.01%, 0.001% and 0.0001% of Epiphany, AH 26 and AH Plus sealers on RPMI-1640 medium were tested for cytotoxicity to rat peritoneal macrophages using the trypan blue dye exclusion assay. Data were analyzed statistically by the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests at 5% significance level. Objective: To evaluate the effect of intracoronal bleaching agents on the sealing properties of different intraorifice barriers and root filling materials. Study Design: The root canals of extracted human premolars (n=180) were prepared by using System GT rotary files and filled with either gutta-percha+AH Plus or Resilon+Epiphany sealer. Artykuł podejmuje problematykę sztuki figuratywnej w teologicznej przestrzeni tradycji Kościołów syryjskich. Chociaż wspólnoty te w początkowym stadium rozwoju stanowiły integralną część Cesarstwa Wschodniorzymskiego, to jednak wypracowały zupełnie inny model obrazowania, którym nie są ikony czy też inne formy malarskie. BACKGROUND The key to success of any root canal therapy is adequate obturation of the prepared root canal space. Root canal sealers are not dimensionally stable and might dissolve partially over a period of time. The objective of this in vitro study is to evaluate the push-out bond strength to intraradicular dentin of two endodontic obturation materials.
