The economic transition in Poland leads to a restructuration of economic activities which affects spatial patterns of cities, especially in Warsaw. Analyzing the location and re-location of population and employment in Poland’s capital allows to enlarge the debate on the suburbanization forms to the Central and Oriental European Countries. The results support the fact that the city center is still largely the most important district in terms of population andemployment, so that in 1999 the city keeps a strong monocentric character. National audience; Alors que l’évolution des cadres normatifs va tendanciellement dans le sens d’un dialogue social renforcé, l’observation récente des phénomènes de restructuration en France semble indiquer une recrudescence de la conflictualité. Ce constat, pour autant qu’il soit valide, est porteur de questionnements : le recours au rapport de force constitue-t-il une stratégie préférable à l’identification de solutions négociées ? Peut-on faire un lien entre la forme prise par l’interaction sociale à l’occasion des restructurations et le type de mesures envisagées dans les compromis sociaux ?
Infrastructures and Productivity in the Spanish Regions

The aim of this paper is to analyse the role of public capital, the types of infrastructures in which it is invested, and their territorial distribution in the gains in productivity of the private sector in the Spanish regions in the period 1964-1991 using panel data techniques to control for unobserved state-specific characteristics. The results obtained show how the infrastructures most directly linked to the productive process present a significant and positive effect on productivity. The main aim of this work is to present a simple method, based on analytical expressions, for obtaining the temperature increase due to the Joule effect inside the metallic walls of an RF accelerating component. This technique relies on solving the 1-D heat-transfer equation for a thick wall, considering that the heat sources inside the wall are the ohmic losses produced by the RF electromagnetic fields penetrating the metal with finite electrical conductivity. Increased conductivity of a hole transport layer due to oxidation by a molecular nanomagnet

Thin film transistors based on polyarylamine poly?N,N?-diphenyl-N,N ?bis?4-hexylphenyl?- ?1,1?biphenyl?-4,4?-diamine ?pTPD? were fabricated using spin coating in order to measure the mobility of pTPD upon oxidation. Partially oxidized pTPD with a molecular magnetic cluster showed an increase in mobility of over two orders of magnitude. A transition in the mobility of pTPD upon doping could also be observed by the presence of a maximum obtained for a given oxidant ratio and subsequent decrease for a higher ratio. Such result agrees well with a previously reported model based on the combined effect of dipolar broadening of the density of states and transport manifold filling. Peer Reviewed

Este estudio sobre la distribución, usos del suelo y evolución del dominio útil constituye una primera aproximación a la caracterización de la compleja estructura de la propiedad segorbina. Aunque no se conoce el alcance de las posesiones francas o alodiales sitas en su término, los establecimientos efectuados desde 1612 de los bienes que habían pertenecido a los moriscos (en calidad de dominio útil) consolidaron el régimen enfitéutico en Segorbe. Abstract This paper aims at finding a framework for the Sicilian Calcarenites relating the strength and the deformability of these materials to their geological and structural features: fabric, bonding, initial and actual specific volume. In particular, this study sets out to separate the effects of fabric and of bonding on the mechanical response.
