After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. Ustekinumab therapy changes the transcriptional activity pattern of TGF-β1–3 genes

Introduction One of the examples of genes whose expression can be altered by the action of ustekinumab is TGF-β. It is a pleiotropic cytokine whose activity affects psoriatic changes and the state of homeostasis of the whole organism. Aim To evaluate the effect of ustekinumab on the transcriptional activity of TGF-b family genes in patients with psoriatic arthritis and to check whether the results obtained can be helpful in monitoring the progress of treatment. Material and methods From total PBMCs obtained from peripheral blood of 14 patients with psoriatic arthritis, total RNA was isolated. Topological properties of cellular automata on trees

We prove that there do not exist positively expansive cellular automata defined on the full k-ary tree shift (for k>=2). Moreover, we investigate some topological properties of these automata and their relationships, namely permutivity, surjectivity, preinjectivity, right-closingness and openness.

This paper aims to answer the question of why constituent moments are relevant to political theory. It hypothesises the Spanish constitutional debate of 1931 as a case of conceptual innovation in parliamentary politics by arguing that debates in constituent moments entail a special kind of parliamentary argumentation when new political regimes are established. There, all sorts of theoretical, normative, historical, and institutional aspects are discussed to deliberate on the future character and functioning of a political regime. Dzięki zebranym dokumentom i materiałom ustalono najważniejsze fakty z życia generała, dotyczące jego pochodzenia, nauki w Cesarskim Aleksandrowskim Liceum (Lycee Imperial Alexandre) w Petersburgu, udziału w walkach o niepodległość Polski oraz kariery w kawalerii i szkolnictwie wojskowym II RP. Udostępnione przez bliskich księcia materiały, skonfrontowane ze źródłami urzędowymi i dostępnymi publikacjami, pozwoliły także na ustalenie dodatkowych okoliczności związanych z jego śmiercią z rąk NKWD w 1940 roku. The Descriptive Complexity Approach to LOGCFL

Building upon the known generalized-quantifier-based first-order characterization of LOGCFL, we lay the groundwork for a deeper investigation. Specifically, we examine subclasses of LOGCFL arising from varying the arity and nesting of groupoidal quantifiers. Our work extends the elaborate theory relating monoidal quantifiers to NC1 and its subclasses. In the absence of the BIT predicate, we resolve the main issues: we show in particular that no single outermost unary groupoidal quantifier with FO can capture all the context-free languages, and we obtain the surprising result that a variant of Greibach's ``hardest context-free language'' is LOGCFL-complete under quantifier-free BIT-free proj…

W trakcie licznych konfliktów zbrojnych rozegranych w osiemnastowiecznej Europie Prusy Wschodnie tylko raz były teatrem działań wojennych: latem 1757 r. – zimą 1758 r. Dwukrotnie jednak działania zbrojne toczyły się nad jej granicami, a w latach 1734-1735 przez prowincje pruską przechodziły transporty i oddziały walczących wojsk. Taka postawa nie przyniosła wówczas królowi pruskiemu żadnych korzyści, ale też uchroniła Prusy Wschodnie oraz jego mieszkańców przed ewentualnymi negatywnymi skutkami wojny na terytorium Rzeczpospolitej.
