In its judgments on the preliminary objections in the Legality of Use of Force cases, the Court held that the FRY was not a UN member in the period between 1992 and 2000. This finding is controversial, at odds with previous decisions of the Court, and has indeed attracted criticism from various judges. This article proposes a different construction of the question of the FRY's membership within the UN and reviews arguments that allow doubts to be cast on the reasoning of the Court. Zdecydowana większość emigracyjnych elit politycznych zajęła negatywne stanowisko w sprawie zbiórki pieniędzy na restytucję Zamku Królewskiego w Warszawie. W 1. połowie lat 70. XX w. na całym świecie działało jednak kilkadziesiąt komitetów i organizacji polonijnych wspierających ową inicjatywę, najwięcej w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Australii, we Francji i w Kanadzie. Chronologicznie pierwszy tego typu komitet zawiązał się jeszcze w czerwcu 1967 r. w Londynie, na kilka lat przed decyzją władz PRL w sprawie podniesienia z ruin byłej siedziby królewskiej. W artykule przedstawiona została sytuacja strategiczna twierdzy Kamieniec Podolski w okresie od zimy 1768 r. do zimy 1769 r., gdy na Podolu trwała konfederacja barska. Komendant twierdzy Józef de Witte dokładał wszelkich starań, aby utrzymać twierdzę, a przede wszystkim stanowiących jej garnizon żołnierzy w jak najlepszej kondycji, a przy tym dochować wierności królowi Stanisławowi Augustowi. Z zachowanych w Archiwum Narodowym w Krakowie raportów J. Witte do króla, Komisji Wojskowej oraz wysokich urzędników i dowódców wojska koronnego wynika, że w pełni mu się to udało. Due to the proliferation of database applications, the integration of existing databases into a distributed or federated system is one of the major challenges in responding to enterprises' information requirements. Today, a high number of OER in management are already available in a large number of repositories. In unserem Beitrag analysieren wir, wie die Burgerinnen und Burger den Regierungswechsel und die Ubernahme der Regierungsgeschafte durch die neue grun-rote Regierung wahrgenommen, wie sich die Regierungs- und Parteienzufriedenheit (ausgedruckt durch die hypothetische Wahlentscheidung) im Zeitverlauf entwickelt haben und was die Determinanten der Zufriedenheit sind. Unsere Analysen basieren dabei auf insgesamt sechs reprasentativen telefonischen Befragungen im Zeitraum von November 2011 bis Oktober 2015. The imperial cult in Late Antiquity (4th-6th cent. AD) can be interpreted as a significant juridical fossile, which conveys the inner contradictions of the so called “era of Constantine”. An epigraphic and prosopographic analysis of the high priests of the imperial cult (flamines, sacerdotes and coronati in the West, ἀρχιερεῖς in the East) would point out the lasting importance of these dignitaries between the ages of Diocletian and Justinian, especially in the case of provincial high priests, who were in the same time presidents of federal assemblies (concilia, κοινά) and played a primary role in the “religious reforms” planned by Maximinus Daia and Julian the Apostate.

Safety and efficacy of intensity-modulated radiotherapy in the management of spermatic cord sarcoma.

International audience; Purpose. - Spermatic cord sarcoma is a rare disease, which management remains controversial due to the lack of guidelines. The standard therapeutic approach is surgical: wide soft-tissue resection with radical inguinal orchidectomy, The diagnosis is made during the analysis of the specimen. The high rate of local recurrence indicates adjuvant radiotherapy of the tumor bed. The aim of this series is to determine the efficacy and safety of postoperative intensity-modulated radiotherapy for spermatic cord sarcomas.
