INTERNAL CROSSED MODULES AND PEIFFER CONDITION

In this paper we show that in a homological category in the sense of F. Borceux and D. Bourn, the notion of an internal precrossed module corresponding to a star-multiplicative graph, in the sense of G. Janelidze, can be obtained by directly internalizing the usual axioms of a crossed module, via equivariance. We then exhibit some sufficient conditions on a homological category under which this notion coincides with the notion of an internal crossed module due to G. Janelidze. We show that this is the case for any category of distributive Omega(2)-groups, in particular for the categories of groups with operations in the sense of G. Orzech.

El text transcrit ha estat dividit en episodis i seqüències que fan més abastable el material. El proposito de este articulo es delimitar las funciones y roles de los principales agentes y los procesos que intervienen en la creacion y gestion del conocimiento (CGC) en red desde una plataforma virtual. This article presents an experimental programme on reinforced concrete beams retrofitted with steel angles and pre-stressed stainless steel ribbons to increase their flexural strength and ductility. Two different configurations of the steel ribbon were designed, and two companion specimens for each type considered were subjected to a four-point bending test to facilitate a direct comparison in the analysis of the effectiveness of the retrofitting technique. Abstract. Remotely sensing vegetation condition and health hazards requires modeling the connection of plants’ biophysical and biochemical parameters to their spectral response. Even though many models exist already, the field suffers from lack of access to program code. In this study, we will assess the feasibility of open-source 3D-modeling and rendering software Blender in simulating hyperspectral reflectance and transmittance of leaf tissue to serve as a base for a more advanced large-scale simulator. Grammar and representations: a valuable insight?

In the sociocultural and socioeducational context of Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, grammar is often perceived as a succession of rules to be assimilated in order to apply them in exercises, the central aim being gratification through marks. For this learning public, mostly Arabic, from an educational culture where rote learning is privileged, grammar is deemed indispensable and as difficult as that of Arabic. FFL teachers are facing a major challenge: to design French grammar as a tool for access to meaning, jointly and alongside vocabulary. In this perspective, a passage through the study of representations provides valuable insight.
