Parent–offspring recognition (POR) is fundamental in colonial birds when the potential intermingling of chicks is higher due to the large number and proximity of nests. In species with isolated nests, where chick presence in the nest is strong contextual evidence of kinship, there might be circumstances when the parent might doubt the identity of the chick, but not enough to reject it. New Ag(I) coordination polymers, formulated as [Ag(μ-PTAH)(NO3)2]n (1) and [Ag(μ-PTA)(NO2)]n (2), were self-assembled as light- and air-stable microcrystalline solids and fully characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS(±), elemental analysis, powder (PXRD) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Their crystal structures reveal resembling 1D metal-ligand chains that are driven by the 1,3,5-triaza-7-phospaadamantane (PTA) linkers and supported by terminal nitrate or nitrite ligands; these chains were classified within a 2C1 topological type. The non-structural proteins (NS) of the parvovirus family are highly conserved multi-functional molecules that have been extensively characterized and shown to be integral to viral replication. Along with NTP-dependent helicase activity, these proteins carry within their sequences domains that allow them to bind DNA and act as nucleases in order to resolve the concatameric intermediates developed during viral replication. Cet article revient sur quarante années de didactique du français, langue non native, avec la relecture d’un article fameux de Louis Porcher, Monsieur Thibaut et le bec Bunsen, dans lequel il montrait que la question utile n’était pas d’abord celle des objectifs (spécifiques ou pas) mais celle de la méthodologie, « pratiques, méthodes, stratégies » pour apprendre et enseigner. Hélas, cet article a souvent été compris comme un refus des objectifs spécifiques, du FOS, etc., mais à tort : relisons !
