Abstract This paper examines the factors which influence sharing of the strategic information (in other words, electronic coordination) in a buyer–supplier dyad. The antecedents of this coordination are examined rather well in the transaction cost economics (TCE) theory and resource-dependency theory (RDT), while the supply chain management perspective is contemplated. Interactive geovisualization portals, set up on the Internet after the iconic Google Maps, are highly regarded by the public. They provide the ability to see from above the surface of our planet, and more specifically the French territory in the case of Geoportail. Yet it is forbidden to approach too close to certain objects: on national territory, some 150 sites are in fact hidden by the IGN. This paper question the relevance and efficiency of this operation imposed on the main body of production and dissemination of spatial information in France, in comparison with the means used by other countries.

Technostress is stress that individuals experience due to their use of information technology. It is associated with critical workplace consequences including reduced productivity. While the negative consequences are well known, what is less understood is how individuals can cope with technostress to alleviate them. We report on two studies that explain how organizational IT users can cope with technostress. The first is a qualitative study conducted in the U.K., by interviewing thirty executives/knowledge workers. Pētījuma jautājums ir, kāda saistība pastāv starp vadītāja līderības stilu un darbinieku uztverto stresu. Pētījumā piedalījās 51 respondenti no dažādām darba jomām un vietām, vīrieši un sievietes vecumā no 22 līdz 46. Pētījumā tika izmantotas divas anketas, pirmā ir „Uztvertā Stresa Skala” (Cohen, Kamarck, & Mermelsken, 1983), kuru adaptēja latviešu valodā (Stokenberga, 2008). Šī anketa tika izmantota, lai varētu noteikt respondentu uztverto stresu darbā.
