The Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on credit servicers, credit purchasers and the recovery of collateral aims to reach the goal of improving the secondary market of Non Performing Loans also through a Non-judicial Enforcement that should consent creditors to enforce collaterals faster than pursuing judicial remedies. The Paper discusses this desired objective highlighting how it lacks of attention for third party creditors and how it seems still leaving room for a judicial intervention to ensure their rights.

This article represents the outcome of a round table organized and conducted by Giacomo Tagliani about the Lessico del cinema Italiano/Lexicon of Italian Cinema (2014–2016). This research and editorial project comprises three volumes and 21 entries that address the history of Italian cinema through an original and challenging approach, namely to detect a list of conceptual clusters able to provide new perspectives over the heritage of Italian films. The increasing production of biographical films dealing with power and its figures raises interesting questions about the nature and the aims of political cinema. What are the strategies used to represent people whose public image has completely overlapped to their identity? This matter concerns not only thematic aspects of the biopic genre, but more in depth it discloses fundamental issues at the basis of any theory of cinema. Fautes musicales et fautes textuelles dans les lais lyriques transmis par les chansonniers du Roi (M) et de Noailles (T)

In this contribution we shall present some anomalies in the musical notation of the anonymous lyric lais transmitted by French chansonniers M and T (i.e. Kievrefoil, Markiol and Nompar), which share the same source, and to which a recently discovered chansonnier fragment (Bo) can be added. The plural attestation of these heterostrophic texts allows to nuance the strict notion of musical error, advocated by John H. Marshall for this very corpus. Finally, we discuss an interesting case (Nompar, str. X) where musical notation can effectively help the reconstruction of a text corrupted in both witnesses.

Art in the streets. Artification strategies for public space

My essay focuses on the notion of artification, recently emerged in the philosophical and artistic debate. Some case studies show that “public wall paintings” work as an artifying strategy of public space both at a superficial and at a deep level. As regard to the first, a mere decorative effect is produced; while the second, by launching projects which require the coordination of several professional skills and social actors, produces a more radical transformation. The Italian version of the Cognitive Style Indicator and its association with decision-making preferences

By adopting a more flexible view, Cools and Van den Broeck (2007) developed the Cognitive Style Indicator (CoSI) which includes three cognitive dimensions: Creating (flexible, open-ended and inventive), Knowing (emphasizing facts, details, objectivity, and rationality), and Planning (guided by preferences for certainty and well-structured information). The first aim of this research was to validate the three factor structure of the CoSI within the Italian context, whereas the second was to verify whether cognitive styles, as measured by the CoSI, accounted for individual differences in decision-making processes. Numerical analysis for formability boundaries definition in sheet metal forming operations

Formability limits in sheet metal forming have been widely investigated through different approaches. The main aim of such approaches was to develop tools able to prevent or predict fracture occurrence in order to improve production quality. Forming limit diagrams (FLDs) and fracture criteria are probably the most utilised tools in this field; nevertheless, some drawbacks of such tools were demonstrated. In particular, forming limit curves are characterised by ineffective prediction capability if non linear deformation paths are taken into account.
