L’Egida, poema in endecasillabi sciolti composto da Girolamo Muzio fra il 1570 e il 1572 e pervenutoci incompleto, celebra le antiche vicende della terra d’Istria e, in particolare, della città di Capodistria (anticamente denominata Egida). Muzio difende il suo poema in alcune lettere indirizzate al nipote Maurizio nel 1575, nelle quali controbatte punto per punto le riserve sul poema formulate dai letterati di Capodistria. International audience; The simulation of exit times for diffusion processes is a challenging task since it concerns many applications in different fields like mathematical finance, neuroscience, reliability horizontal ellipsis The usual procedure is to use discretization schemes which unfortunately introduce some error in the target distribution. Our aim is to present a new algorithm which simulates exactly the exit time for one-dimensional diffusions. The knowledge of milk proteome has been greatly enhanced by technological advances in the proteomics field as the use of the two-dimensional differential in-gel electrophoresis, a gel-based approach which allowed the analysis of proteins from complex mixtures and the comparing of several protein samples in the same experiment. In dieser Kasuistik wird der Fall einer tuberkulosen Destruktion des rechten Sakroliakalgelenks eines 56-jahrigen Patienten vorgestellt. Auffallig sind die verspatete Diagnose durch Verwechslung der Beschwerdesymptomatik mit einer Lumbalgie durch Bandscheibenprolaps und die Abszedierung entlang der Psoasmuskulatur und in die umgebende intra- und extrapelvine Muskulatur. Die Therapie ist eine chirurgische, die durch eine einjahrige medikamentose Kombinationstherapie erganzt wird.

Background The aim of this study was to explore how pelvic girdle pain after delivery influences women’s daily life in Norway. Knowledge about living with post-partum pelvic girdle pain is lacking. Method A phenomenological–hermeneutical design with qualitative semi-structured interviews was used. A strategic selection procedure was chosen to recruit participants from physiotherapy clinics and a regional hospital in Norway. Five women with clinically verified pelvic girdle pain after delivery were included.
