Abstract The Time Capacitated Arc Routing Problem (TCARP) extends the classical Capacitated Arc Routing Problem by considering time-based capacities instead of traditional loading capacities. While in the CPP the cost of traversing an edge is a constant (equal to its length), in the variant we present here the cost of traversing an edge depends on its length and on the weight of the vehicle at the moment it is traversed. A recent study reported the results of an exploratory study of alterations of the quantitative sleep profile due to the effects of a digital mobile radio telephone. Rapid eye movement (REM) was suppressed, and the spectral power density in the 8–13 Hz frequency range during REM sleep was altered. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saistību starp pašuztverto intelektu, akadēmisko pašefektivitāti un akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem vispārizglītojošo skolu jauniešiem. Pētījuma izlasi veido 102 jaunieši vecumā no 16 līdz 20 gadiem (M = 17,57, SD = 1.01), no tiem 73 (74,46%) meitenes un 29 (25,54%) zēni, kas mācās 10.-12. klasē piecās vidusskolās. Pētījumam piemīt aprakstošs korelatīvs dizains. Das Buch befasst sich mit dem Zusammenspiel von kognitiven, emotionalen und motivationalen Faktoren beim Aufbau von mündlicher Kompetenz in Deutsch als Tertiärsprache bei erwachsenen Italienern. Es stützt sich dabei auf ein interdisziplinäres Vorgehen, das theoretisch erörtert und in seiner Methodenwahl ausführlich dargelegt wird, insbesondere die Videografie sowie intro-/retrospektive Verfahren. Die Ergebnisse der Studie veranschaulichen die Lernprozesse einmal klassenübergreifend, zum anderen erfolgt eine detaillierte Analyse der einzelnen Lernenden. Das Literaturverzeichnis liefert Lehrenden, Studierenden und Forschern eine erschöpfende bibliographische Quelle zu den behandelten Themen.
A comparison of two different formulations for Arc Routing Problems on Mixed graphs

[EN] Arc routing problems on mixed graphs have been modelled in the literature either using just one variable per edge or associating to each edge two variables, each one representing its traversal in the corresponding direction. In this paper, and using the mixed general routing problem as an example, we compare theoretical and computationally both formulations as well as the lower bounds obtained from them using Linear Programming based methods. Extensive computational experiments, including some big and newly generated random instances, are presented.
