The renewed interest in plant proteins has stimulated research aimed at developing markers to aid in the selection of legume varieties better adapted to nutritional needs. Among the traits to be improved and stabilized is the amino acid balance of seeds, the essential amino acids methionine and tryptophan being particularly under-represented in legume seeds. Elle propose un classement typologique et chronologique de tous les objets mis au jour par catégorie fonctionnelle, ainsi que la reconstitution, pour la première fois, de plusieurs ensembles clos. Elle a ainsi permis de proposer une évolution de ce cimetière entre le second quart du v e siècle (La Tène A ancienne) et la première décennie du ii e siècle avant J.-C. (La Tène C1). Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.), a particularly troublesome and allergenic weed, is mainly controlled in agricultural fields using ALS inhibitor herbicides. Recent cases of herbicide resistance have been reported in France and are jeopardising the efficacy of this mode of action. Both target site resistance (TSR, structural mutation in ALS gene) and non target site resistance (NTSR, regulatory and/or structural mutations in secondary metabolism) are involved. Biorąc za punkt wyjścia perspektywę historyczną oraz ewolucję kultury translacji w Polsce od lat 20. XX wieku aż po czasy współczesne, autorka analizuje stopniową zmianę paradygmatu w odniesieniu do roli i znaczenia przekładu literackiego. W dalszej części zostaje podjęta refleksja na temat wybranych lingwistycznych i estetycznych kryteriów oceny jakości przekładu, w celu zbadania, na ile produktywne może okazać się podejście interdyscyplinarne w tym zakresie. Szczegółowej analizie zostają poddane kryteria oceny jakości tłumaczenia zaproponowane przez Sigrid Kupsch-Losereit pod względem możliwości ich zastosowania do przekładów tekstów literackich.
A two-stage genome-wide association study of sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

The cause of sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is largely unknown, but genetic factors are thought to play a significant role in determining susceptibility to motor neuron degeneration. To identify genetic variants altering risk of ALS, we undertook a two-stage genome-wide association study (GWAS): we followed our initial GWAS of 545 066 SNPs in 553 individuals with ALS and 2338 controls by testing the 7600 most associated SNPs from the first stage in three independent cohorts consisting of 2160 cases and 3008 controls. The archaeological site of the Pré-du-Plancher is located to the east of Dijon (Burgundy, Côte-d’Or), at the footof a limestone hill in the Basmont valley. This site, dated from the late Bronze Age, is the first to include a stratigraphicalsequence for this period in Burgundy. The settlement comprises of three buildings and several dumps containing potteryfinds. The study of the pottery as well as the site’s stratigraphy clearly identifies three chronological periods dating from Late Bronze Age IIb to Late Bronze age IIIa (French chronology) or Hallstatt A2 / B1 (German/Swiss chronology). Artykuł przedstawia problemy związane z pojęciem „stylizacji gwarowej” i rozbieżnościami w interpretacji zjawiska, jakie odnajdujemy w literaturze przedmiotu. Autor dokonuje krytyczne-go omówienia poglądów takich badaczy problematyki, jak S. Dubisz, A. Wilkoń, T. Kostkiewiczowa, T. Skubalanka. Za podstawę analityczną przyjmuje teorię stylizacji M.R. Mayenowej. Nie każde wprowadzenie do tekstu elementów gwary oznacza stylizację.
