The present study was designed to obtain more information on mechanisms leading to muscle hypertrophy by determination of the effects of different heavy resistance exercise protocols on acute and chronic neuromuscular and hormonal responses in previously strength trained young men. Because of containment policies, migrants between departure and destination encounter barriers and gray zones. They remain trapped in these places, where the asymmetry of power is exercised by force. Such places are tolerated as they are functional to the capitalist system. Planned refugee camps are part of this system; they are conceived as temporary devices to save human lives but are organized externally and self-organization is prevented. Can our discipline re-appropriate these issues often delegated to political and functionalist choices and provide effective answers? In the global landscape of migration, the experience of the Sahrawi can be a model of self-management and participation.
Children in the visual coverage of the European refugee crisis: A case study of the World Press Photo 2016

Shifts in the visual coverage of refugees arriving in Europe and prominent compassion fatigue emphasize the need to examine visual strategies utilized to report on the crisis. This study focuses on representations of refugee children using a case of the World Press Photo (WPP) 2016. The material was interpreted with a model for visual rhetorical interpretation of journalistic photographs. Findings indicate the main visual elements involved in representing refugee children: visual trope of the migrant father, relation between children and barriers, visual oxymoron (juxtaposition of contradictory elements) and atmosphere in photographs. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten opettaja antoiinstruktion ja palautteen verbaalista ja nonverbaalista viestintää käyttäen heterogeenisen kolmannen luokan liikuntatunneilla sekä miten hän opetusviestinnässään huomioi oppilaiden yksilöllisyyden ja ryhmässä ilmenevän häiriökäyttäytymisen. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, miten opettajan käyttämä opetusviestintä näyttäytyi oppilaiden toiminnassa liikuntatunneilla. The synthesis and structural characterization of dicationic selenium and tellurium analogues of the carbodiphosphorane and triphosphenium families of compounds are reported. These complexes, [Ch(dppe)][OTf]2 [Ch = Se, Te; dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane; OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate], are formed using [Ch]2+ reagents via a ligand-exchange protocol and represent extremely rare examples of homoleptic pnictogen → chalcogen coordination complexes. Artykuł prezentuje analizę znajdujących się w krymskich archiwach informacji dotyczących tej tematyki. Omawia historię działalności społeczno-kulturalnej polskiej społeczności w tym okresie. Opublikowane materiały mogą nie tylko zainteresować badaczy, lecz także być pomocne w odnawianiu zerwanych więzi rodzinnych, a również w rozwiązywaniu problemów napływających do Polski uchodźców, których liczba stale rośnie.
