The essay focuses on the recent reform of the Italian pensions system ("quota cento") and it puts in evidence the criticalities of the reform having regard to its financial sustainability and to the principle of intergenerational solidarity. El ensayo analiza la reciente reforma al sistema de pensiones italiano ("quota cento") subrayando sus criticidades desde la doble vertiente de la sustenibilidad financiera y de la solidaridad intergeneracional.
Vulnerability, Human Rights and Climate Change

The article aims at establishing the specificity of the human rights approach to environmental issues such as the climate change, in order to test its advantages and limits. While responsibilities in the side of climate change is controversial, the approach from human rights and in particular from their vulnerability is easier to focus and define and it involves also the problem of inequalities produced by the degradation of environment. In addition, the human rights approach is dynamic (open to specification and to proceses of implementation) and it is compatible with an intergenerational perspective.

Art in the streets. Artification strategies for public space

My essay focuses on the notion of artification, recently emerged in the philosophical and artistic debate. Some case studies show that “public wall paintings” work as an artifying strategy of public space both at a superficial and at a deep level. As regard to the first, a mere decorative effect is produced; while the second, by launching projects which require the coordination of several professional skills and social actors, produces a more radical transformation. Dynamic aphasia in PSP: A deficit in generating a fluent sequence of novel thought

We report a patient (KAS) who presented with pure dynamic aphasia in the context of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). KAS had the hallmark propositional language impairment in the context of preserved naming, reading, repetition and comprehension skills. The severity of KAS's propositional language deficit was demonstrated to be comparable to other dynamic aphasic patients. Remarkably, despite virtually abolished propositional speech, KAS was unimpaired on word and sentence level generation tasks that required a single response. The utility of the recognition memory test and the graded naming test in monitoring neurological patients

Objectives. Repeated neuropsychological assessments are often used to monitor cognitive changes in neurological patients. In this study we document: test-retest reliability (TRR), group changes in performance and measures of intra-subject variability for two commonly used cognitive tests. Design. A large sample of neurological patients with either acute or degenerative neurological damage, and relatively static cognitive profiles, were retrospectively selected if they had been administered twice either the Recognition Memory Test (RMT) and/or the Graded Naming Test (GNT) within a 2-year interval.
