Darba mērķis bija ar proteīnu kristalogrāfijas palīdzību noskaidrot dažādu inhibitoru novietojumus zīdītājos sastopamo ogļskābes anhidrāžu II un IX izoformu aktīvajos centros nolūkā radīt jaunu ārstniecības vielu prototipus. Maģistra darba tapšanas laikā tika iegūtas vairākas ogļskābes anhidrāžu II un IX izoformu proteīnu struktūras kompleksā ar dažādiem savienojumiem. Iegūtie rezultāti ir izmantojami racionālam zāļu dizainam, ar mērķi izveidot selektīvus ar audzējiem saistītās ogļskābes anhidrāzes IX, vai ar glaukomu saistītās II izoformas inhibitorus. Darba mērķi ir izstrādāt metodi rekombinantas modificētās ornitīna δ-aminotransferāzes (MOAT) produkcijai un kristalizēšanai, analizēt MOAT strukturālās atšķirības no ornitīna δ-aminotransferāzes (OAT), kā arī noteikt MOAT kristālu struktūru kompleksā ar Latvijas Organiskās sintēzes institūta pētnieku sintezētajiem diazonamīda A struktūranalogiem. Tādejādi, varētu noteikt MOAT un diazonamīda A struktūranalogu ķīmisko mijiedarbību veidu, iegūstot zināšanas jaunu MOAT inhibitoru dizainam. Despite the promising results of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radioligand therapy (RLT) in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), some patients show worsening disease during PSMA-RLT. We investigated the value of combined [18F]FDG and [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET imaging in this setting. Friedreich's ataxia is the commonest autosomal recessive ataxia among population of European descent. Despite the huge advances performed in the last decades, a cure still remains elusive. One of the most studied hallmarks of the disease is the increased production of oxidative stress markers in patients and models. This feature has been the motivation to develop treatments that aim to counteract such boost of free radicals and to enhance the production of antioxidant defenses. Game Definitions: A Wittgensteinian Approach

Games have been defined and redefined many times over, and there seems to be no end to this continual process or any agreement about the definitions. This article argues that such an agreement is not necessary, and presents a Wittgensteinian approach to discussing game definitions. Instead of the common core approach used in most definitions, this article argues for an approach based on language-games. The common core approach is based on a limited number of shared core attributes, while the language-game approach is based on the idea of family resemblances. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella refleksiivisen modernin tuottamia elämänmuutostilanteita biografisen oppimisen mahdollisuuksina. Lähestymistavan perustana oli ajatus modernin laaja-alaisesta murroksesta refleksiiviseksi, notkeaksi tai toiseksi moderniksi, mikä yksilön tasolla näkyi myös oppimiseen liittyvänä muutoksena. Yhteiskunnan rakenteiden ja instituutioiden tasolla murros tuotti yksilölle rajuja elämänmuutoksia, epävarmuutta ja ennakoimattomuutta, jotka pakottivat yksilön sopeutumaan jatkuvaan muutokseen.
