Tapaustutkimus kahdeksasluokkalaisten tiedonhakustrategioista internetlukemisessa

Tutkielmassa selvitän, millaisia internetlukijoita ja -tiedonhakijoita yläkoululaiset ovat. Tarkastelen työssä tarkemmin neljän kahdeksasluokkalaisen internetissä tapahtuvaa tiedonhakuprosessia ja sen eri vaiheita. Usein nuorten ajatellaan olevan niin sanottuja diginatiiveja, jolloin heidän ajatellaan olevan automaattisesti hyviä lähes kaikessa internetiin ja teknologiaan liittyvässä toiminnassa. On kuitenkin havaittu, että nuoret näyttävät yliarvioivan omat lukemistaitonsa verkossa. Nykyisin tietoa on saatavilla verkossa ennennäkemättömän paljon. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 4 nodaļām: pirmajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta teorija par mašīntulkošanu un pieejamajiem tulkošanas rīkiem latviešu-somugru valodu pārī; otrajā nodaļā aprakstītas literatūrzinātnieku idejas par autora identitāti un lasītāja lomu literārajos darbos; trešajā nodaļā ar tulkošanas teorijas palīdzību tiek analizēta tulkotāja loma autora iecerētā vēstījuma nodošanā; ceturtajā nodaļā tiek novērtēts, salīdzināts un analizēts, kā Google mašīntulkotāja un cilvēka veiktais tulkojums ietekmē teksta naratīvu. Abstract Background Psychological health has been one of the aspects affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. We aim to evaluate the patterns of Google search for mental distress symptoms of Italian citizens during the various phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods We assessed Google searches for psychological-health related words. We gathered and analyzed data on daily search queries on depression, anxiety, and insomnia from Google Trends, in a time ranging from the Pre-COVID phase (beginning 25th January 2020) up to the second wave phase (ending 17th October 2020). Objectives To evaluate the concordance between Google Maps® application (GM®) and clinical practice measurements of ambulatory function (e.g., Ambulation Score (AS) and respective Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS)) in people with multiple sclerosis (pwMS). Materials and methods This is a cross-sectional multicenter study. AS and EDSS were calculated using GM® and routine clinical methods; the correspondence between the two methods was assessed. A multinomial logistic model is investigated which demographic (age, sex) and clinical features (e.g., disease subtype, fatigue, depression) might have influenced discrepancies between the two methods. Factor selection procedures in a Google Earthtm aided landslide susceptibility model: application to the Beiro river basin (Spain)

A procedure to select the controlling factors connected to the slope instability has been defined. It allowed to assess the landslide susceptibility in the Rio Beiro basin (about 10 km2) over the north-eastern area of the city of Granada (Spain). Field and remote (Google EarthTM) recognition techniques allowed to generate a landslide inventory consisting in 127 phenomena. Taulukkolaskentaohjelmia on mahdollisuus käyttää perinteisenä työpöytäsovelluksena, pilvipalveluna verkkoselaimella sekä etäpalvelimen asiakasohjelmalla. Lisää suoritustehoa on saatavilla rinnakkaislaskennalla ja pilvipalveluntarjoajilta. The thesis examines and compares spreadsheet programs and their programming options. Spreadsheet programs have the option to use as a traditional desktop application, a web browser, as well as run the application server with remote client. More processing power is available by using parallel computing and from cloud service providers.
Perspectiva diacrónico-contrastiva del paisaje lingüístico de la migración en el barrio de Ruzafa de Valencia

Este trabajo tiene como principal objetivo conocer el grado de presencia de las lenguas de inmigración en el paisaje lingüístico (PL) de Ruzafa en los años 2008 y 2018 desde un planteamiento diacrónico y contrastivo, así como explorar las consecuencias que ha tenido el proceso de gentrificación sobre el paisaje lingüístico de la migración en el barrio. Para ello se ha elaborado un corpus de un total de 212 signos del PL a partir de capturas de pantalla de las imágenes de Google Street View, las cuales pertenecen los años 2008 y 2018 y muestran los rótulos y signos de algunos comercios privados del barrio. Gudrie spoguļi ir jauna tehnoloģija ar neizmantotu potenciālu. Šajā darbā tiek aprakstītas metodes kā vadīt gudro spoguli tam nepieskaroties. Darba laikā tika izpētīti bezkontakta saskarnes veidi - balss un roku žestu vadība. Tika aplūkoti dažādi balss un žestu vadības risinājumi, un atrasti piemērotākie priekš gudrā spoguļa. Rezultātā tika izstrādāta gudro spoguļu bezkontakta saskarnes programmatūra, kas var kalpot kā bāze universālas konfigurējamas gudrā spoguļa programmatūras izveidē.

Darbā analizēta plakāta izveide bioloģijas apguvē pamatskolā, ar mērķi panākt skolēnu efektīvāku kognitīvo un sociālo spēju pielietojumu. Mērķa sasniegšanai ir izveidoti un aprobēti divi mācību stundu plāni, kā arī izveidots un aprobēts viens mājasdarbs google vidē. Rezultāti liecina, ka: skolotājai veidojot plakāta izveides nosacījumus, ir jāparedz otras valodas tulkojums, kurā skolēni mācās; plakāta veidošana integrējot to e-vidē un grupu darbā ir skolēnu motivējošs savstarpējās sadarbības veids; skolotājas paraug-plakāta izveide mācību stundas laikā, skolēniem ir labāk uztverama un saprotama, veidojot patstāvīgi savu grupas plakātu; plakāta veidošana veicina skolēnu radošo izpausmi mācīb…
