Artiflex Toric Phakic Intraocular Lens Implantation in Congenital Nystagmus

Case: A 44-year-old woman with congenital nystagmus and myopic astigmatism in both eyes who was submitted to phakic intraocular lens (pIOL) implantation. Methods: Full ophthalmologic examination including refractive status, corrected (CDVA) and uncorrected (UCVA) monocular and binocular visual acuities, ocular motility, slit-lamp evaluation, tonometry and fundoscopy before and after implantation of toric pIOLs (Artiflex; Ophtec BV, The Netherlands) in both eyes. Results: Preoperative logMAR CDVA were 0.699 and 0.420 in the right and left eye, respectively. Three months after surgery, logMAR UCVA were 0.398 and 0.182, reaching binocular logMAR UCVA of 0.132. Los autores que se estudian en esta tesis se alejan de los moralistas clásicos, pues ni pretenden sentar cátedra ni diseccionar la antropología de un ciudadano que ya deja de ser negativa. Riebuma un publiskuma ietekme uz morāles spriedumiem un morāles pamatiem

Maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai riebums un publiskums ietekmē morāles spriedumus un vai riebums ietekmē morāles pamata Svētums izteiktību. Pētījumā piedalījās 184 dažādu specialitāšu studenti. Pētījumā tika izmantots emociju stimula materiāls ar riebumu inducējošiem stāstiem, publiskuma stimula materiāls, morāles spriedumu novērtējuma skala un Morāles intuitīvo pamatu aptauja (Moral Foundations Questionnaire: 30-Item Full version-MFQ 30; Graham, Haidt & Nosek, 2008). Rezultāti norāda, ka riebuma un publiskuma mijiedarbība paaugstina morāles spriedumus.

This report presents the results of a second series of excavations carried out between the oppidum of Boviolles and the ancient city of Nasium. It affects an occupation dated between La Tène D2 and the beginning of the augustean period, characterized by a causeway linking the two entities, a level delivering traces of artisanal activities, wells and a cooking kiln. This occupation is also characterized by the presence of the Roman army embodied in many militaria. This presence is central to the issue of the development of the ancient settlement of Nasium.

W artykule zaprezentowano, z wykorzystaniem perspektywy historycznej, próby wdrażania neoliberalnego modelu rozwoju w Chile. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na rolę zamachu stanu w 1973 roku, który umożliwił realizację neoliberalnej polityki gospodarczej i społecznej. Neoliberalny model, związany z prywatyzacyjnymi przekształceniami oraz znacznym zmniejszeniem roli państwa, nie przyniósł zadowalających efektów dla chilijskiego społeczeństwa.

International audience; The gustation is a dynamic system able to rapid physiological adaptations in response to on-going environmental changes that characterize our feed (rhythm, quality, quantity). Based on the modulation of taste sensitivity thresholds, this homeostatic system contributes to build the feeding behavior by driving the food choices.
