Simple soil water balance model (R function)

This R function models the soil water balance (SWB) for two soil layers based on relatively simple assumptions. It is a simple method to calculate actual evapotranspiration, downward water flux (leaching), and upward water flux (or capillary rise) from two soil layers and the net flux between the two soil layers. The necessary input data comprises the change in soil water storage between two time steps per soil layer (e.g. from repeated volumetric soil water content measurements), potential evapotranspiration, precipitation, and the percentage of roots in the top soil layer. Il saggio espone i metodi e gli strumenti di ricerca utilizzati per la ricostruzione del catalogo della pioneristica Mostra D’Arte Sacra delle Madonie curata da Maria Accascina ed allestita nel 1937 presso il Convento dei PP. Riformati di Petralia Sottana, centro delle alte Madonie. Si tratta di più di quattrocento opere, tra gioielli, suppellettili liturgiche, oggetti preziosi di uso profano, coralli, paramenti sacri, tessuti, statue lignee, intagli, maioliche, tappeti, tele e tavole dipinte realizzate dal XI al XIX secolo. Las maestras nos hablan de dicho factor vocacional como de algo que ya aparece en su infancia en tanto que deseo explícito de dedicarse a la docencia. An X-ray characterization of the central region of the supernova remnant G332.5-5.6

Aims. We present an X-ray analysis of the central region of supernova remnant (SNR) G332.5-5.6 through an exhaustive analysis of XMM-Netwon observations with complementary infrared observations. We characterize and discuss the origin of the observed X-ray morphology, which presents a peculiar plane edge over the west side of the central region. Methods. The morphology and spectral properties of the X-ray SNR were studied using a single full frame XMM-Netwon observation in the 0.3 to 10.0 keV energy band. A chiral capillary monolithic column for enantiomer separation in capillary electrochromatography was prepared by coating cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) on porous glycidyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate monolith in capillary format grafted with chains of [2(methacryloyloxy)ethyl] trimethylammonium chloride. Monitoring chemical reactions that occur in small spaces or confined environments is challenging. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy offers the unique possibility to monitor spectral changes with high sensitivity and time resolution. Herein, we report the application of composite mesoporous TiO2 films loaded with Ag nanoparticles (NPs) to track in situ chemical processes in real time.
