Background: Physical activity (PA) is said to be beneficial to many bodily functions. However, the effects of PA in the brain are still inadequately known. Multimodal Device for Real-Time Monitoring of Skin Oxygen Saturation and Microcirculation Function

The present study introduces a recently developed compact hybrid device for real-time monitoring of skin oxygen saturation and temperature distribution. The prototype involves a snapshot hyperspectral camera, multi-wavelength illuminator, thermal camera, and built-in computer with custom-developed software. To validate this device in-vivo we performed upper arm vascular occlusion on eight healthy volunteers. A fully automated system for the evaluation of masseter silent periods.

Exteroceptive suppression of masseter muscle activity, 'masseter inhibitory reflex', comprises one or 2 silent periods (SP1 and SP2) interrupting the voluntary activation. The main problem when evaluating exteroceptive suppression is the lack of an objective and precise measure for the onset and end of the silent period which so far has not been overcome by various automated systems. Assessment of haemophilic arthropathy through balance analysis: a promising tool

Effects of intra-session exercise sequence during water-based concurrent training.

The aim was to investigate the effects of the intra-session exercise order during water-based concurrent training on the neuromuscular adaptations in young women. 26 women (25.1±2.9 years) were placed into 2 groups: resistance prior to (RA) or after (AR) aerobic training. Cross-modal aftereffects of visuo-manual prism adaptation: Transfer to auditory divided attention in healthy subjects.
