This qualitative study aims to analyse the worldview that emerges in the textbooks of Turkish imam and preacher high schools (úmam hatip lisesi). The study material consists of eight textbooks that belong to the vocational religious education of Turkish imams. All of the textbooks were published around 2010. In this study, theoretical considerations regarding the essence of worldview (Weltanschauung) are summarized into an existential model of worldview (EKMA). The model provides two viewpoints from which to understand the worldview under study. This thesis examines the contribution of ‘ethnic' background to the school experiences of educationally and socially disadvantaged students in the senior years of high school (n=927). To investigate the role both of ethnic identification and its interplay with institutional factors, a comparative analysis of secondary student experiences in two national settings was undertaken. Automated Checking of Flexible Mathematical Reasoning in the Case of Systems of (In)Equations and the Absolute Value Operator

We present an approach and a tool for automatically providing feedback on solutions that involve complicated reasoning patterns. Currently the tool supports linear systems of equations and inequations that may also contain the absolute value operator and a restricted form of rational functions. This suffices for designing problems that are laborious to solve with standard mechanical procedures, but much easier using short-cuts that students may find by creative thinking. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot uztvertā skolas klimata un depresijas simptomu sakarības vidusskolēniem vecuma grupā no 16-18 gadiem. Tika analizēta teorētiskā literatūra, jaunāko zinātnisko pētījumu rezultāti un veikts praktisks pētījums. Tika noskaidrots, ka skolas klimats un depresijas veidošanās ir pētīti dažādos pētījumu kontekstos. Tika iegūti apstiprinājumi ka pētnieki ir nonākuši pie secinājumiem, ka skolas klimats var ietekmēt skolēnu garīgo un fizisko veselību. Ir pierādīts, ka skolas klimats ietekmē vidusskolēnu pašnovērtējumu, mazina paškritikas negatīvo ietekmi, un sniedz ieguldījumu garīgajā veselībā.
