In this article the meaning of ownership is considered. Three categories of ownership are recognized and the efforts to influence environmental leadership and management are analysed based on the relevant important documents from the last 15 years. The article starts by categorising ownership. Next, the question of who owns the right to lead/manage, and therefore the right to control the use of global resources, leads to a discussion of the influences of environmental problems on the theory of leadership and management. Finally, a short analysis of the battle of ownership is documented.

This article explores Latin American Chief Executive Officers' (CEOs') perceptions about the influence of career self-management practices and chance events on their career pathways. Through an edited topical life story approach, we investigate the relationship between those variables throughout CEO's career trajectories in the Latin American context. Semi-structured in-depth interviews with 22 CEOs working for multinational companies were conducted. Interviews were transcribed and analyzed with the aid of QSR NVivo 7 software. This study investigated the impact of organizational culture (OC) on deviant behaviors in the workplace (workplace deviant behaviors: WDB). We tested the hypothesis that different types of OC (according to the Competing Values Framework model) had an impact on WDB, in addition to the effect of Big Five personality traits. Survey research was undertaken with 954 employees of 30 enterprises in the public and private field, using a hierarchical model approach (HLM) to test the effects of four types of OC (Clan; Adhocracy; Market, Hierarchy) on WDB, over and above the effect of Five Personality traits.
