The relationship between scientists and journalists is much better than its image. Scientists not only believe that public communication is a duty, but also that media visibility is beneficial for them. The scientific culture differs from that of journalism, which causes partly discrepant expectations; but in most cases these do not preclude satisfying interactions between journalists and scientists. Scientific journalism faces the challenge to adapt not only to new formats but also to new information exchange dynamics. New online platforms, making it easier to access and produce scientific content, are forcing science publics to evolve. The online environment has turned into science communication reality, and both scientists and communicators must adapt to it. This paper discusses these changes and their implications for science journalism and an informed citizenry.

Este artículo se escribe con la finalidad de profundizar sobre el origen del fenómeno adictivo de la codependencia. Para ello, se analiza la narrativa literaria mitológica de Eco, narrativa concebida como la metáfora por excelencia de la condición codependiente. El análisis literario hará emerger ciertas características familiares que se sitúan teóricamente en el origen del proceso adictivo codependiente, corroborando así hipótesis de trabajo.

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas ir kognitīvo izkropļojumu, pārbaudījumu trauksmes un akadēmiskās pašefektivitātes savstarpējās saistības studentu vidū un vai vērojamas atšķirības mainīgo saistībās sieviešu un vīriešu izlasēs, kā arī noskaidrot atšķirības pārbaudījumu trauksmes un akadēmisko pašefektivitātes rādītājos dažādos studiju kursos un noteikt kādā mērā kognitīvo izkropļojumu izteiktība prognozē pārbaudījumu trauksmi un akadēmisko pašefektivitāti studentiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 116 šobrīd studējoši studenti (74 sievietes) vecumā no 18-29 gadiem. Vidējais vecums izlasē bija 22,72 gadi (SD= 2,42). Background: Recent evidence suggests that psychosocial treatments, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), are effective interventions for adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The objective of this review was to determine the long-term efficacy of psychosocial interventions in improving clinically relevant variables, including ADHD core symptoms, clinical global impression (CGI), and global functioning.
