The aim of the present thesis is to investigate the source of Stroop (interference) effects in weak bilinguals (Experiment 1) and in early language learning (Experiment 2-6). Participants performed a bilingual colour-word Stroop task with intermixed first language (L1) and second language (L2) words. The typical finding from the Stroop literature is slower and less accurate responding when the word and colour are incongruent (e.g., “red” in blue) relative to congruent (e.g., “red” in red). Interestingly, this congruency effect occurs for the colour words from both L1 and L2. What produces this congruency effect? International audience; La nécessité de prédire le cycle de conduite d’un automobiliste afin d’améliorer sa gestion énergétique et ainsi réduire la consommation de carburant a été démontré (Debert, Quigley). Dès lors, il serait aisé d’appliquer une méthode d’optimisation globale, telle que la Programmation Dynamique (DP en anglais), pour obtenir la stratégie optimale. Cette méthode est déjà utilisée dans de nombreuses applications (Sciarretta), mais au quotidien nombreux sont les facteurs environnants qui peuvent perturber les conditions de circulation (météo, travaux, accidents....) et impacter le cycle de conduite. The presented approach will conclude on the method to develop a informatic system, based on case studies of mechanical design. The purpose of the project is to capture the design intent, in order to provide useful assistance to stakeholders, such as design support, decision making, verification/validation, and data structuring.

Pułkownik Zdzisław Filingier to postać wybitnie zasłużona dla pożarnictwa zarówno na Opolszczyźnie, jak i w całej Polsce. Pułkownik Filingier urodził się 2 stycznia 1922 roku w Warszawie. Jego rodzina mieszkała w Międzylesiu. Tam Zdzisław Filingier spędził dzieciństwo i wczesne lata młodzieńcze. W latach 1935–1939 uczęszczał do gimnazjum w Warszawie, gdzie należał do harcerstwa. W czasie pierwszych miesięcy okupacji skończył tajną podchorążówkę Armii Krajowej oraz brał udział w wielu akcjach sabotażowych. While many theories have guided research Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D), we are yet to construct a clear and coherent narrative that would help us answer the question of how ICT fosters development in underdeveloped communities.
