Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is a typically lethal type of brain tumor with a median survival of 15 months postdiagnosis. Para ello, se seleccionaron 108 publicaciones periódicas repartidas proporcionalmente entre Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades (36 revistas), Ciencia y Tecnología (36) y Ciencias Médicas y de la Salud (36). Hemangiopericytoma of the Oral Cavity After a Ten-Year Follow-up

Hemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a mesenchymal tumour that may be benign, malignant, or occur in an intermediate form. We report an unusual case of hemangiopericytoma located in the buccal mucosal region. The histopathologic features showed increased cellularity, necrosis, hemorrhage, low proliferation index, and 4 or less mitotic figures per 10 high-power fields. Since this histological pattern suggests an intermediate form characterized by unpredictable clinical behavior, life-long follow-up is essential. In this patient no recurrences or distant metastases were evident at 10-yr follow-up.

Primary omental tumor with ultrastructural features of cellular schwannoma and absence of S-100 antigen reactivity.

Summary We report a primary well-delimited, large mesenchymal omental neoplasm which appeared in a 58 year old man without neurofibromatous traces. The histological and ultrastructural features were consistent with a Schwann cell origin. However, repeated immunohistochemical reactions failed to demonstrate protein S-100 antigen reactivity in the neoplasic cells, the latter only expressing vimentin. The differential diagnosis with hemangiopericytoma is proposed.
