Extended Families as Communities of Religious Experience in Late Seventeenth-Century Eastern Finland

AbstractThis chapter offers an interpretation of extended families as communities of experience in a rural area close to the eastern border of the Swedish realm. Through a case study of lower court records, Kuha examines the social and religious life in a 17th-century farm culminating in the crisis of an extended family. The chapter explores how practices of lived religion shaped the relationship of the community and the individual, and how experiences were negotiated within families and local communities. The analysis highlights the importance of protecting the boundaries of the household as well as the meaning of religious practices in creating cohesion within the community.

The paper discusses the presence of the women's movement in Bośnia and Herzegovina after the Dayton Peace Agreement. The main purpose of the article is to find an answer to the question how feminism after the disintegration of Yugoslavia was developed in Bośnia. During the war and after 1995 there were a number of women's anti-war organizations, which often did not define themselves as a feminist, but in fact were. Bakalaura darba pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp emocionālo intelektu, darba nedrošības izjūtu un iesaisti darbā. Pētījumā piedalījās 188 respondenti, kas bija dažāda līmeņa darbinieki no dažādām nozarēm. Respondenti bija vecumā no 24 – 68 gadiem. Pētījuma “Uztvertā stresa, darba-ģimenes konflikta radītāju saistība ar attālinātā darba biežumu” mērķis bija noskaidrot kādas saistības pastāv starp uztverto stresu, darba-ģimenes konfliktu un attālinātā darba biežumu. Pētījuma izlase tika veidota pēc brīvprātības principa. Pētījumā piedalījās viena respondentu grupa, vecumā no 25-50 gadiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 53 respondenti (N 53) , tai skaitā 10 (19%) vīrieši un 43 (81%) sievietes. Pētījuma piedalījās respondenti, kuri ir attālinātā darba veicēji un ģimenē viens no vecākiem veic attālināto darbu 35 (66%) gadījumos vai abi vecāki ģimenē veic attālināto darbu 18 (34%) gadījumos.
