Sterilizēšanas programmas efektivitāte ielas kaķu skaita kontrolei Rīgā

Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika apskatīti un analizēti dažādi literatūras avoti par Latvijas un ārvalstu pieredzi iela kaķu populācijas mazināšanā un to skaita kontrolē. Pētījuma gaitā tika veiktas dažādu Rīgas apkaimju iedzīvotāju aptaujas, ar kuru palīdzību tika noteikta iedzīvotāju attieksme pret ielas kaķiem un to nodarīto kaitējumu apkārtējai videi. Tika apsekotas desmit Rīgas apkaimes, kurās tika uzskaitīta sterilizēto un nesterilizēto dzīvnieku attiecība. Iegūtie dati tika apstrādāti MS Excel, kā arī tika veidots kartogrāfiskais materiāls, izmantojot programmatūru ArcMap. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas aprakstiem. An individual’s reaction time data to visual stimuli have usually been represented in Experimental Psychology by means of an ex-Gaussian function. In most previous works, researchers have mainly aimed at finding a meaning for the parameters of the ex-Gaussian function which are known to correlate with cognitive disorders. Based on the recent evidence of correlations between the reaction time series to visual stimuli produced by different individuals within a group, we go beyond and propose a Physics-inspired model to represent the reaction time data of a coetaneous group of individuals. Heritage Destruction in Syria and Northern Iraq: Which is the Applicable Law?

The paper aims at reconstructing the applicable legal framework to the widespread destruction of cultural heritage. At first, a legal classification of the conflict under international humanitarian law is provided, with the aim to identify the applicable law. In the second part of the paper, the problem of heritage destruction in Syria is dealt under a double perspective: (i) framing the obligations and potential responsibility fo States (the Syrian Arab Republic and eventually other foreign States involved in the hostilities); and (ii) individual criminal responsibility arising for the perpetrated acts of destruction of cultural heritage.
Structure of longitudinal chromomagnetic fields in high energy collisions

We compute expectation values of spatial Wilson loops in the forward light cone of high-energy collisions. We consider ensembles of gauge field configurations generated from a classical Gaussian effective action as well as solutions of high-energy renormalization group evolution with fixed and running coupling. The initial fields correspond to a color field condensate exhibiting domain-like structure over distance scales of order the saturation scale. At later times universal scaling emerges at large distances for all ensembles, with a nontrivial critical exponent. Finally, we compare the results for the Wilson loop to the two-point correlator of magnetic fields.

The subject of the article is, modern in last decades, a creative way of parasitising on someone else‘s texts – a reinterpretation of texts which were written some time ago. As an example of such a modern drama strategy, called a literary recycling, I chose ―The Wedding‖ on the basis of Wyspianski‘s ―The Wedding‖ presented in Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole.
